Peacock Dream Catcher

Dream catchers are said to act as dream filters, allowing only good dreams to reach the sleeper!

The dream catcher is a handmade craft originated from the Native American culture and now have become popular with everyone. The idea is to hang the dream catcher over one’s bed and it's supposed to catch nightmares in its webs while allowing the good dreams and positive thoughts to escape through the middle hole and enter the sleeping mind.

Personally, I just love and find myself fascinated by these magical mesmerizing webs.
Making a dream catcher is a fun project. You will just need some basic decorative materials to create. They are a great piece to hang in the bedroom, throughout the home, in an outdoor space or given as a gift. Here am sharing a Peacock Themed Dream catcher. Feel free to let your imagination loose and personalize your work.

Materials Used:-

  • Hoop
  • Silk Thread
  • Glue
  • Peacock Feathers
  • Artificial Feathers
  • Rhinestones
  • Satin Ribbon

Start by sticking the ribbon around the loop with the help of glue.

Divide your loop proportionately and mark it with a marker.

Now tie one end of the silk thread to the loop.
Start weaving it around on the marks made.

Do the same all around.

Now for the second line, start weaving in the center of the first line you have made.

 Keep going all around.

Cut around 5 to 6 pieces of silk thread and stick the feathers to one end.

Glue the rhinestones to the dream catcher.

Tie the other end of the pieces to the bottom of the dream catcher.

Stick some feathers to hide the knots.

Let it dry.

Your Dream Catcher is ready. 😊😊
