Mobile Pouch for Beginners

This is a very simple crochet cell phone pouch pattern.Just add a decorative button or a crochet flower to give it a personal touch....!!!

The stitches used are the basic Single crochet and Chain Stitches. Hence, it is also a perfect project for beginners who want to practice the stitches that they have just started to learn.

Also these would make a great present for your techie friends who would be having all sort of gadgets.
You can make these as simple or as intricate as you’d like. Here, I’ve used only one colour. But you can get creative by adding more colors of yarn.
And what’s more.........you can adjust this pattern to fit any size of your phone or any gadget. You can increase or decrease the number of starting chain stitches according to size of your phone .Also add more or less rows to your cover to fit your phone’s height.

Materials Used:-
  • Any yarn of your choice
  • Crochet Hook
  • Button
  • Yarn Needle

Start with a slip stitch.

Make chain Stitches according to the breadth of your phone. I've made 17 Chain Stitches.

Single Crochet in the 2nd chain from the hook.

Continue with single crochets in all the following stitches.

In the last stitch, make 3 single crochets.

Continue working on the opposite side of the chain stitches.Make single crochets in all the stitches on the opposite side.

Once you reach the last stitch, make 3 single crochets and slip stitch to the first stitch to end the round.

Now, you will be working in continuous rounds.
Keep making single crochet all around till it fits your phone.

See.....now it has started taking shape.

Just keeping measuring to check the fit.

Time to sew in the decorative button.

Leave around one inch space from top and sew the button.

Make the loop for the opening of the pouch by making chain stitches.Start the chain stitches in the center of your project.

Measure and make chain the stitches to fit around the button.
Don't make too many stitches as it would make the loop loose.

That's all!!!!
Wasn't it easy!!!! So.....get your stuff ready and start making. You can make this in less than a hour.
