Clay Drip Vase

I love decorating my place with flowers. And its always fun to work and try out new projects with clay.

Here I tried out a vase with a piece of waste cloth and POP(Plaster of Paris). It's quite simple and you can make it in no time. Yup.....just the drying part needs time!!!!

Materials Used:-

  • POP(Plaster of Paris)
  • Glue
  • Fevicryl Acrylic Colours(Black, Metallic Rust,Bronze,Metallic Copper)
  • Waste Cloth
  • Air Dry Clay

I made this vase and decorated them with my Handmade Clay Flowers. You can check out the flower tutorials here:-

Let's start!!!

Mix POP(Plaster of Paris) and Glue in 1:1 ratio.

Mix it properly.

Take the cloth of the size which you want the vase to be.

Dip the waste cloth in the mixture and coat it well.

Put the cloth on a bottle or tin.
Let it dry over night.

Once dried, it will be hard and you will get the shape of the vase.

Paint it with Black Acrylic Color.

Brush Lightly with Bronze, Copper and Rust colour.

Let it dry.

I have added a feather charm made with air dry clay.
