To make a Puff Stitch:-
  1. First pull up the yarn on the hook to a height of a double crochet.
  2. Yarn Over, insert hook in the same stitch and pull up a loop.Do not complete the stitch(3 loops on the hook)

  4. Lastly, Yarn Over, insert hook in the same stitch and pull up a loop.(7 loops on the hook).

  2. Yarn over, insert the hook in the same stitch, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. You should have 3 loops on the hook.

  5. Ooh, I am really loving the brightly colored metallic yarn. What yarn is this? I haven't come across such a yarn. Makes for a really eye-catching coaster perfect as you've named it for Spring or Easter celebration.
