Easy To Make Rosebud Spring Flower Coaster Free Pattern

Lately , I have been obsessed with making flower related patterns. Recently I had shared the pattern for Mini Sunflower Doily. Everyone loves flowers.Here I am again with a flower inspired crochet pattern. Today I am sharing the pattern for Easy To Make Rosebud Spring Flower Coaster.

These Rosebud crochet flower coasters are quick and easy to make.You would surely want to make a bunch of them. Make them in variety of patterns by alternating the colors in each row.

Crochet Rosebud coasters are perfect for adding spring ambience to your table. They will also make great gifts for love ones, be it any occasion.You can also use this pattern to make motifs that can be used in variety of your other crochet projects......Dream catchers...Buntings...Wall Hangings...Blankets...Placemats!!!!!

Materials Used:-
4 Ply Yarn(Green and Red Color)
3mm Crochet Hook

Start with Green Color Yarn.

Round 1:-
Start with a Magic Circle.
Chain 2.(Not Counted as a Stitch)
12 Double Crochet into the magic circle.
Pull the yarn end to close the gap and slip stitch on top of the first double crochet.





Round 2:-
Start with Chain 2(Not Counted as a Stitch)
1 Double Crochet in the same stitch.
1 Front Post Double Crochet in the same stitch.

Repeat*(1DC,1FPDC in same stitch)
Slip Stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
24 Stitches(12 DCs,12FPDCs)



Round 3:-
Start with Chain 2(Not Counted as a Stitch)
2 Double Crochet in the same stitch.
1 Front Post Double Crochet in the next Stitch.
Chain 2.
1 Front Post Double Crochet in the same Stitch.

Repeat*(2DC,(1FPDC,Chain2,1FPDC)
Slip Stitch on top of the first double crochet to end the round.
12 Chain 2 Spaces.





Round 4:-
Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch)
1 Double Crochet in the same stitch.
1 Double Crochet in the next stitch.

While Pulling up the last loop, change to Red Color yarn.
1 Popcorn stitch in the Chain 2 space from previous round.

To make a Pop Corn stitch:-
  1. Make 5 double crochet stitches in the same stitch.
  2. Drop the loop from your hook.
  3. Insert your hook in the first double crochet you made.
  4. Grab the dropped loop with your hook and pull it through the stitch.
  5. Chain 1.
That's One Pop Corn stitch made.
While making the Chain 1, Pull up the Green Color Yarn.
Repeat*(1DC,1DC,1Popcorn)
Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
36 Stitches.




Round 5:-Continue with the Green Color Yarn.
Start with Chain2(Not counted as a stitch).1 Double Crochet in the same stitch.
1 Double Crochet in the next stitch.
2 Double Crochet in the next stitch.
Repeat*(1DC,1DC,2DC)
Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
48 stitches.




Round 6:-Continue with Green Color Yarn
Start with Chain2(Not counted as a stitch).1 Double Crochet in the same stitch.
1 Double Crochet in the next 2 stitches.
2 Double Crochet in the next stitch.
Repeat*(1DC,1DC,1DC,2DC)
Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.Change to Red Color Yarn while making the slip stitch.
60 stitches.




Round 7:-
Start with Chain2(Not counted as a stitch).1 Double Crochet in the same stitch.
1 Double Crochet in the next 3 stitches.
2 Double Crochet in the next stitch.
Repeat*(1DC,1DC,1DC,1DC,2DC)
Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.Change to Green Color Yarn while making the slip stitch.
72 stitches.




Round 8:-
Chain 3.
Skip 1 stitch.
1 Single Crochet in the next stitch
Repeat*(Chain 3,Skip 1,1 Single Crochet)
Weave off.
