Easy To Make Crochet Chain Lace Doily

Looking for a Doily Pattern which works up fast and easily customizable to any size....???? Here it is.Today am sharing the pattern for this Pretty Lace Doily. This pattern works up in a jiffy. Just with Chain Stitches, Single Crochets and Double Crochets you can make this doily for decorating your home. These would also make great gifts for your loved one.

I have used cotton thread ,Off White and Variegated color for this Doily. But you can very well make them with thicker yarn and make them as Doily Rugs...or Tablemats and Placemats. This simple pattern would also be a great choice to make a Doily Dream Catcher.

Materials Used:-
Cotton Thread No.5
3mm Steel Crochet Hook

Size:- 8 inches(Can be made to a size of any choice by repeating certain rounds)





Here is the Video Tutorial:-







Round 1:-
Start with a Magic Circle.Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch)
20 Double Crochets in the Magic Circle.
Pull the yarn end to close the gap.
Slip stitch on top of the first double Crochet.

Round 2:-
Chain 5.
1 Single Crochet in the next stitch.
Repeat*(Chain 5,1 SC)
Once you reach the end, Chain 2 and 1 Double Crochet into the first Chain space. (This is the connecting increase stitch)

Round 3:-
Chain 5.
I Single Crochet in the next chain space.
Repeat*(Chain 5, 1SC).
To end the round, Chain 2, and 1 Double Crochet on the Double Crochet from the previous round.

Round 4,5 and 6:-
Repeat Round 3.

You can make the doily bigger by repeating Round 3 untill you reach the size required.


To end the Round 6, Chain 5 and slip stitch on the Double Crochet.
Change color while making the slip stitch.
Round 7:-
Slip Stitch into the chain space.
Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch)
5 Double Crochets in the chain space.
Repeat 5 DC in the remaining chain spaces.
Slip stitch on top of the first double crochet.
Change Color while making the slip stitch.

Round 8:- 
Chain 5.
Skip 1.
1 Single Crochet in the next stitch.
Repeat*(Chain 5, Skip 1, 1 SC)
To end the round, Chain 2 and 1 Double Crochet into the first Chain space.

  
Round 9,10 and 11:- 
Chain 5.
1 Single Crochet in the next chain space.
Repeat*(Chain 5,1 SC)


To end the round 9 and 10, Chain 2, and 1 Double Crochet on the Double Crochet from the previous round.

To end round 11, Chain 5 and slip stitch on the double crochet from the previous round.
Change Color while making the slip stitch.

If you want to make a bigger doily, then you can repeat these rounds untill you reach the size required. 
Border Round:-
Slip stitch into the chain space and Chain 1.
3 Single Crochets.
1 Picot Stitch.
3 Single Crochets.
Repeat(3SC,1 Picot, 3SC)
Slip stitch on the first single crochet and weave off.

To make a Picot Stitch,Chain 4, Slip Stitch into the stitch below the 1st Chain.

    Your pattern seems completely viable as i read and watch video. The thing is I’ve never seen crochet 5 in local
    Joanns or Michaels. US. What company did you order from. I’d like to try since is too difficult for me.
