Crocheted doilies are always very popular for adding a finishing touch to your home décor and a great gifting option for this festive season. If you are looking for simple and quick doily to make , then this would be the right choice. Today am sharing the pattern for this Quick Pastel Doily. This simple doily works up pretty fast and would also be a perfect beginner friendly project.
I made them with pastel colors. You can make them in any color of your choice. Play around with the colors and color coordinate them to suit any holiday or occasion.
Materials Used:-
- 4 Ply Yarn
- 3 mm Crochet Hook
Size:- 10 inches.

Round 1:-
Start with a Magic Circle. Chain 2 (Not Counted as a stitch)
12 Double Crochets in the Magic Circle.
Pull the yarn end to close the gap.
Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
12 Stitches.
Chain 2.(Not Counted as a stitch)
2 Double Crochets in each stitch around.
Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
Chain 4.(Chain 3 will be counted as 1 Double Crochet, remaining Chain 1 will be counted as Chain 1 Space.
1 Double Crochet in the next stitch.
Repeat *(1 DC, Chain 1)
Slip Stitch into the Third Chain stitch to end round.
Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch)
2 Double Crochets in each chain space from the previous round.
Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch)
1 Double Crochet in the same stitch.
2 Double Crochets in the next stitch.
Repeat *(1 DC, 2DC).
Slip Stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
72 Stitches.
Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch)
2 Double Crochets in the same stitch.
Chain 2.
Skip 2 stitches.
Repeat*(2DC,Chain 2, Skip 2).
Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.(Change Color while making the slip stitch)
Round 7:-
Slip Stitch into the Chain space.
V-Stitch in each of the Chain spaces from the previous round.
Slip stitch to end the round.
How to Make a V-Stitch:-
2 Double Crochets.
Chain 2.
2 Double Crochets.
(All the stitches made in the same stitch)
Repeat Round 7.
(Slip stitch into the chain space to start the round)
Chain 3.
1 Single Crochet in the next Chain Space.
Slip Stitch into the chain space. Chain 2(Not counted as a stitch)
3 Double Crochets in each of the chain space.
Slip stitch on top of the First Double Crochet.
Chain 4.(Chain 2 will be counted as 1 Double Crochet, remaining 2 Chains will be counted as Chain 2 Space.
Skip 1 Stitch.
1 Double Crochet in the next stitch.
Repeat*(1DC,Skip 1,Chain 2)
Slip stitch into the 2nd Chain to end the round.
Chain 2(Not Counted as a Stitch).
1 Front Post Double Crochet in the same stitch.
2 Double Crochets in the next Chain space.
Repeat*(1FPDC,2DC).
