Easy Crochet Autumn Scarf

The autumn is finally here and nothing is cozier around your neck than a cowl or bright colorful and cheery Scarf . Now is the perfect time to make some warm and cozy crochet accessories and garments for yourself, and for your loved ones.

Here’s a very pretty and simple crochet scarf pattern that will keep you warm and cozy during those cooler months. Today am sharing the pattern for this Easy Crochet Autumn Scarf. The pattern is made by repeating only 2 rounds untill you reach the size needed. This Cozy Autumn scarf is the perfect beginner friendly crochet project.

The color of the scarf says Perfect for fall season and weather! But you can very well use any color of your choice and make them match any holiday season. This would also make a wonderful stash busting crochet project.

Materials Used:-
  • Cake Yarn
  • 4 mm Crochet Hook

Size:-
7/ 45 Inches - can be customized to any size

Here is the Video Tutorial:-

Pin it and save for Later:-

Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Chain (30+2)
This measures 7 inches. You can change the size of the scarf by increasing or decreasing these starting chain stitches.

Round 2:-
1 Single Crochet in the second chain from the hook.
Chain 1.
Skip 1 Stitch.
1 Single Crochet in the next stitch.

Once you reach the end , Chain 2 and turn your project

Round 3:-
1 Double Crochet Cluster in each of the Chain 1 Spaces.
1 Double Crochet in last stitch.
Chain 2 and turn.

To Make a Double Crochet Cluster Stitch:-
  1. Yarn over, insert the hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on the hook.(This is same as doing a Double Crochet Stitch. It is just that , you don't finish the Double Crochet Stitch and continue doing the first part of the Double Crochet Stitch again and again). You should have 2 loops on the hook.
  2. Yarn over, insert the hook in the same stitch, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. You should have 3 loops on the hook.
  3. Continue with the first part of Double Crochet stitch untill you have 4 loops on the hook.
  4. Yarn over and draw the yarn through all 4 loops on the hook.
  5. Chain 1.

Round 4:-
1 Single Crochet in the first stitch( i.e in between the first Chain 2 and Cluster stitch)
Chain 1.
1 Single Crochet in the next stitch in between the 2 Cluster stitches.
