Halloween Applique Bunting Crochet Garland

Crochet Garlands and Crochet Buntings are such a wonderful way to add a bit of whimsy and charm to any seasonal decoration. You can Dress up your mantle or any corner of your home with these seasonal garlands.

Here is a quick and easy pattern for your Halloween Decorations. Today am sharing the pattern for Halloween Applique Bunting Crochet Garland. This pattern is quick and very easy to make. It is made with simple Single Crochet triangle pattern. The Crochet Triangle is worked in the rounds.

When you think of Halloween you definitely picturize Monsters, Pumpkins, Skulls, Spiders, Spider Webs, Witch Hats, Candy Corns and Ghosts. You can change the yarn colors according to the any of these Halloween appliques and you make as many Triangle motifs as you wish to make a longer garland



.

Materials Used:-

  • 8 Ply Yarn
  • 4mm Crochet Hook

Notes:-
For this whole pattern the starting Chain 1 is not counted as a stitch. It is just to bring the yarn to a working height.
Start the next stitch in the same stitch.

Here is the Video Tutorial:-


Round 1:-
Start with a Magic Circle.
Chain 1(Not Counted as a stitch.)
5 Single Crochets in the Magic Circle.
Pull the yarn end to close the gap.
Slip Stitch on top of the first Single Crochet.



Round 2:-
Chain 1.
3 Single Crochets in the same stitch.
Mark the middle stitch (i.e. the 2nd stitch) with a stitch marker.
This is the first corner 
1 Single Crochet in the next stitch.
Repeat(3SC,1SC).
Mark the 2nd and 3rd corner as well with a stitch marker to keep a track of the stitches. 
Slip stitch on top of the first Single Crochet.



Round 3:-
Chain 1.
1 Single Crochet.
3 Single Crochets in the marked stitch
Mark the new corner with a stitch marker.
1 Single Crochet each in the next stitches untill the next corner
Repeat(3SC(in the corners),1SC in each of the stitches).
Slip stitch on top of the first Single Crochet.



Round 4 and Round 5:-

Repeat Round 3

Remember to:-
  • Start each round with Chain 1(Not counted as a stitch)
  • Start the next stitch in the same stitch.
  • 1 Single Crochet in each stitch untill the corner.
  • 3 Single Crochets in the corner stitches.
  • Slip stitch on top of the first Single Crochet.

Using the same pattern make as many as you wish. I made total 8 Bunting Shapes.


Facial Features:-
Keep one corner facing down and use a yarn needle to sew the eyes and the smile. 


Assembling:-
Chain 15.
Start at one corner and join the Bunting shape with 1 Single Crochet in each and every stitch.
Chain 10 and again join the next Bunting Shape.
Repeat for all.
Chain 15 at the end the last Bunting shape and weave off.





Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

Round 1:-
Start with a Magic Circle.
