Easy Crochet Leaf Branch



Add a touch of nature into your home decor with this elegant leaf branch. There are many ways to make a Crochet Leaf. Crocheting a leaf is pretty easy and a quick pattern to make. You can easily make a single leaf to use as an embellishment  or a bunch of leaves which can be used as a garland. Crochet leaf patterns have always been very popular choice of crafters.

Today am sharing the pattern for a Easy Crochet Leaf Branch. The pattern is very easy and quick to make. You can easily whip up a couple of branches in no time at all. These are great for decorations and embellishments. The size of the branch is easily customizable. You can make them as small or large as you wish to make. They are also great for gift giving.




Materials Used:-
4 Ply Cotton Knitting Yarn
4 mm Crochet Hook

Size:-
9 inches(1.5" each Leaf) - Customizable to any size

Lets Start ...!!!!

First Side:-
*Chain 10- that's the stem made
Chain 5
2 Treble Crochet in the 4th Chain from the hook.*
Chain 3 Picot.(i.e. Chain 3 and make a Slip stitch into the Bottom stitch).
1 Treble Crochet .
Chain 3.
1 Slip Stitch in the same stitch.
1 Slip Stitch in the next Stitch to finish off the leaf - that's one leaf made.*

Keep Repeating from * to * untill you reach the size of the branch you wish to make.
The last leaf will be considered the top of the branch.

How to make a Treble Crochet??...here it is.....!!
  1. Yarn over hook twice, insert hook in the Stitch and Pull up a loop.(4 loops on hook). 
  2. Yarn over, pull through 2 loops on hook (3 loops remain on hook). 
  3. Yarn over, pull through 2 loops on hook (2 loops remain on hook).
  4. Yarn over, pull 2 loops on hook (1 treble crochet complete).


















Opposite Side:-
*1 Slip Stitch in each of the next 5 stitches - you will reach the mid point in between the two leaves.
Chain 5
2 Treble Crochet in the 4th Chain from the hook.*
Chain 3 Picot.(i.e. Chain 3 and make a Slip stitch into the Bottom stitch).
1 Treble Crochet .
Chain 3.
1 Slip Stitch in the same stitch.
1 Slip Stitch in the next Stitch to finish off the leaf - that's one leaf made.
1 Slip Stitch each in the next 6 stitches.*

Keep Repeating from * to * .













Finishing:-
1 Slip Stitch in each of the remaining stitches and weave off.



Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

First Side:-

1SL in the same St.
1SL in the next St to finish off the leaf - that's one leaf made.
1SL each in the next 6 Sts.*
Keep Repeating from * to * .

Finishing:-
1SL in each of the remaining Sts and weave off.
