Simple Two Row Repeat Crochet Blanket Pattern


Crochet blankets are fun and easy to make with Bulky and Chunky yarn because they work up really quick and are extra cozy and comfy. Crochet Blankets are the most versatile projects to make. There are of course  many pretty crochet stitch patterns that work for crochet blankets but very often the simple crochet stitches worked with bulky yarn makes the best Crocheted Blankets.

Today am sharing the pattern for a Simple Two Row Repeat Crochet Blanket. Its a simple Two Row repeat pattern made with simple just Slip Stitches, Double Crochets and Half Double crochets. The Slip Stitches and the Double Crochets gives this blanket a lovey textured look. Two Row Repeat patterns are always easy and quick to make. You can make the blanket as per size required by changing the starting number of chains.



 

Materials Used:-
Bulky Yarn 
6 mm Crochet Hook

Size:-
40 inches- Customizable to any size

Let's Start:-

Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Chain 91.
This measures around 40 inches.
You can adjust the size of the blanket by altering these stitches according to your requirement.
Start with any Odd number of Chains.



Round 2:-
1 Half Double Crochet in the 2nd Chain from the hook.
1 Half Double Crochet each in the remaining stitches.
Once you reach end, Chain 1 and turn your work.






Round 3:-
1 Slip Stitch in the 1st stitch.
1 Double Crochet in the next stitch.
Repeat(1SL,1DC)
Once you reach end, Chain 1 and turn your work.





Round 4:-
1 Half Double Crochet in each stitch.
Once you reach end, Chain 1 and turn your work.




Round 5 Onwards:-
Keep Repeating Round 3 and Round 4 untill the size needed and weave off.







Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

Round 1:-

Once you reach end, Ch 1 and turn your work.

Round 4:-
1HDC in each St.
Once you reach end, Ch 1 and turn your work.

Round 5 Onwards:-
Keep Repeating Round 3 and Round 4 untill the size needed and weave off.
