Tide Texture Easy Crochet Blanket Pattern



Crocheted blankets are so versatile. You can combine multiple crochet stitches and make a pretty textured crochet blanket. You can easily make them as small as you want, or as large as you want. Textured stitch patterns make great blankets. Not only do they make the Crocheted Blanket look amazing , they also add that extra rich comfort and weight to the finished blanket.

If you are on lookout for an easy crochet pattern with a warm texture ,then here is a quick and easy Tide Texture Crochet Blanket Pattern. This Blanket pattern is a repeat of only one row worked with combination of Double Crochets and Front Post Double Crochets. This gives the pattern a raised wavy texture look.

The size of the blanket can be customized by changing the number of starting stitches. You can make yours with any yarn of your choice. Warm Cotton yarns work best for crochet blanket patterns.




Materials Used:-
8 Ply Cotton Yarn
4 mm Crochet Hook

Size:-
38 inches- Customizable to any size

Let's Start...!!!

Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Chain 96 +5 Chains for the turning chain.
This measures around 38 inches.
You can adjust the size of the blanket by altering these stitches according to your requirement.
Start with any multiple of 4 + 5 chains extra for the turning chain.



Round 2:-
1 Double Crochet in the 6th Chain from the hook.
Chain 3.
3 Front Post Double Crochets in the first Double Crochet made.
Skip 3 Stitches.
Repeat(1DC, Ch3, 3FPDC(in the DC), Skip 3)
1 Double Crochet in the last stitch.
Chain 5 and turn your work.








Round 3:-
Skip the 3 Double Crochets.
3 Double Crochets into the Chain 3 space from the previous round.
Chain 3.
Repeat(3DC(into the Ch3 space), Chain 3).
1 Double Crochet in the last stitch(i.e. into the 3rd chain from the previous round).
Chain 5 and turn your work.






Round 4:-
Skip the 2 Double Crochets.
3 Front Post Double Crochets in the 3rd Double Crochet.
Chain 3
Repeat(3FPDC(in the 3rd DC), Ch 3)
Once you reach the end,1 Double Crochet into the 3rd chain from the previous round.
Chain 5 and turn your work.







Round 5:-
Keep repeating Round 4 untill the size needed.









Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-
