How To Crochet Easter Bunny Applique

Crochet projects that are quick to make are the best for making last minute decorative items for your festival decor and they are best to put your scrap yarn bundles to use. It’s always so nice to be able to crochet and  make something totally handmade that you can use for special occasions and festivals. If you are on the look for a last minute festive crochet decor project, then here it is.

Today am sharing the pattern for a Quick and Easy Crochet Easter Bunny Applique. You can use them of Gift Toppers or fill them up in Easter baskets , join them together with a string and you can make a lovely Crochet Easter Bunting. Not only for Easter Decorations, these appliques will be perfect for using any time of the year.



 

Materials Used:-
8 Ply Yarn
4 mm Crochet Hook

Size:-
4 inches

Let's Start ....!!!!

Round 1:- (Body)
Start with a Magic Circle.
Chain 3.
7 Treble Crochets in the circle.
Chain 3 Picot(i.e. Chain 3 and make a Slip Stitch into the bottom stitch)-this will make the Tail.
9 Treble Crochets in the circle.
Pull the yarn end to close the Magic Circle.








Round 2:- (Face)-

Chain 2.
2 Treble Crochets in the same stitch.
2 Treble Crochets in the next stitch.


Round 3:- (Ears)-

1st Ear:-
*Chain 7.
1 Half Double Crochet in the 3rd Chain from the hook.
1 Double Crochet each in the next 2 Stitches.
1 Half Double Crochet in the next stitch.
1 Single Crochet in the last stitch.*
Make a Slip Stitch into the bottom stitch.(i.e.On top of the Treble Crochet).
2nd Ear:-
Repeat from * to 
Make a Slip Stitch on top of the 2nd Treble Crochet from Round 1 and weave off.
Stick on a Googly Eye or You can also Use a Black Color Yarn to make the Eye.










 Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

Round 1:- (Body)
Start with a Magic Circle.
Ch 3.
7 Trbl in the circle.
Ch 3 Picot(i.e. Ch 3 and make a SL into the bottom St)-this will make the Tail.
9 Trbl in the circle.
Pull the yarn end to close the Magic Circle.

Round 2:- (Face)-
Ch 2.
2 Trbl in the same St.
2 Trbl in the next St.

Round 3:- (Ears)-
1st Ear:-
*Ch 7.
1 Half Double Crochet in the 3rd Ch from the hook.
1 Double Crochet each in the next 2 Sts.
1 Half Double Crochet in the next St.
1 Single Crochet in the last St.*
Make a SL into the bottom St.(i.e.On top of the Treble Crochet).
2nd Ear:-
Repeat from * to*  
Make a SL on top of the 2nd Treble Crochet from Round 1 and weave off.
Stick on a Googly Eye or You can also Use a Black Color Yarn to make the Eye.
