Easiest and Fastest Five Pointed Crochet Star

Today am sharing the pattern for Easiest and Fastest Five Pointed Crochet Star. Its a very easy two round pattern made with the basic crochet stitches. This star pattern would be  great for decorating your Christmas Tree. 

They would also make very cute personalized gifts to your loved ones. Use them as Gift Cover Topper or You can also string them together to make Pretty Garlands to use along with the Christmas lights. It's a great way to use up your stash of scrap yarn. You can also use them as decorations and appliques for any time of year.



 

Materials Used:-
4 Ply Cotton Knitting Yarn
4 mm Crochet Hook

Size:-
2.5 inches

Let's Start:-

Round 1:-
Start with a Magic Circle.
Chain 2 (Not Counted as a Stitch. It is just to bring the yarn to a working height)
15 Half Double Crochets in the circle.
Pull the yarn end to close the gap.
Slip Stitch on top of the first Half Double Crochet.



Round 2:-
*Chain 5.
1 Slip Stitch in the 2nd Chain from the hook.
1 Single Crochet in the next stitch.
1 Half Double Crochet in the next stitch.
1 Double Crochet in the last stitch.
Skip the 2 Half Double Crochet.
1 Slip Stitch in the next stitch(i.e. on the next Half Double Crochet)* 
That's 1 Point made.
Repeat from (* to * ) 4 more times.
Make the last Slip Stitch and weave off.















Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

Round 1:-
Start with a Magic Circle.

15HDCs in the circle.
Pull the yarn end to close the gap.
Slip St on top of the first HDC.

Round 2:-
*Ch 5.
1SL in the 2nd Ch from the hook.
1SC in the next St.
1HDC in the next St.
1DC in the last St.
Sk the 2HDC.
1SL in the next St(i.e. on the next HDC)* 
That's 1 Point made.
Repeat from (*to*) 4 more times.
Make the last SL and weave off.
