Simple Crochet Sedge Washcloth Part of Washcloth of the Month CAL

Its a cool thing about Crochet that you can make your very own functional things which can be used around every hook and nook of your home. Right from decorative things like Crochet Tablemats , Doilies and Pillows to every day useful things like Dishcloths , Potholders and Hotpads. The possibilities are endless. You can let your creativity speak.

Today am sharing the pattern for Simple Crochet Sedge Washcloth. Crocheted Washcloths and Dishcloths are the best handy thing to have around. I made this as Part of Washcloth of the Month CAL along with Rhondda from Oombawka Design Crochet and Amy from The Stitchin’ Mommy.

This Crochet Sedge Stitch Washcloth pattern is very simple and quick to make. The Sedge stitch is a beautifully textured stitch made up with the basic simple stitches. Its a combination of Single Crochets, Half Double Crochets and Double Crochets worked in a single stitch . This give the rich texture which is same from both front and back. With Fall Season around, I used Autumn themed Color for the washcloth. You can easily color code your washcloth for any suitable occasion and season.
