I love making Blanket Patterns. Crocheted Blankets are popular among most of the Crocheters, because of how easy and versatile they are. Nothing says cozy like a handmade throw blanket to cuddle up with on the sofa. These Blankets makes the most thoughtful and lovable gifts for anyone. They are just awesome for any season or occasion.
Today am sharing the pattern for Easy Peasy Crochet Bobble Cluster Blanket. This is a fun and easy pattern to make. Its perfect for all level of crocheters. The pattern is made only with Double Crochets, Single Crochets and Slip /stitches. The Bobble is made with the Double Crochet Cluster Stitch mapped with a Slip Stitch. This gives the lovely textured Bobble effect.
Materials Used:-
8 Ply Yarn
4 mm Crochet Hook
4 mm Crochet Hook
Size:-
38 inches- Customizable to any size
Crochet Terms Used:-
US Crochet Terms
Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Chain 100.
You can adjust the size by altering these stitches according to your requirement.
Start with any even number of chains.
Round 2:-
1 Single Crochet in the 2nd Chain from the hook.
1 Single Crochet each in the remaining stitches.
Once you reach end, Chain 1 and turn your work.
Round 3:-
1 Single Crochet in the 1st stitch.
1 Double Crochet Cluster stitch into the next stitch.
1 Slip Stitch in the next stitch.
Repeat(1DC Cluster,1SL)
1 Single Crochet in the last stitch.
Once you reach end, Chain 2 and Use the Straight Edge Turning Chain to make the Turning Chain.
Straight Edge Turning Chain:-
Usually you would Chain 2, turn and start working the next round. Here is a quick tip to have a nice straight edge .
- Insert the hook into the 1st chain from the bottom.
- Yarn over and pull up a loop. You should have 2 loops on the hook.
- Turn your project and insert the hook into the first stitch.
- Yarn over and pull up a loop. You will have 3 loops on the hook.
- Again, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. You will have 2 loops on the hook.
- Lastly, yarn over and pull through 2 loops.
- This will make one Double Crochet.
How To Make a Double Crochet Cluster Stitch....???:-
- Yarn over, insert the hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on the hook.(This is same as doing a Double Crochet Stitch. It is just that , you don't finish the Double Crochet Stitch and continue doing the first part of the Double Crochet Stitch again and again).You should have 2 loops on the hook.
- Yarn over, insert the hook in the same stitch, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. You should have 3 loops on the hook.
- Continue with the first part of Double Crochet stitch untill you have 4 loops on the hook.
- Yarn over and draw the yarn through all 4 loops on the hook.
Round 4:-
(1 Double Crochet is already made while making the turning chain)1 Double Crochet in each of the remaining stitches.
Once you reach end, Chain 1 and turn your work.
Round 5 Onwards:-
Keep repeating Round 3 & Round 4 untill the size needed and weave off.
Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Ch 100.

Yarn over, insert the hook in the same St, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. You should have 3 loops on the hook.
Continue with the first part of DC St untill you have 4 loops on the hook.
Yarn over and draw the yarn through all 4 loops on the hook.
Round 4:-
(1DC is already made while making the turning Ch)
1DC in each of the remaining Sts.
Once you reach end, Ch 1 and turn your work.
Round 5 Onwards:-
