Easy Lacy Crochet Table Runner


Crochet table runners are a fantastic way to add a handmade touch to your home decor. Crocheted Table Runners are versatile. You can make them delicate and lacy or thick and textured . You can easily color code them to match any festive occasion or theme.

Today am sharing the pattern for Easy Lacy Crochet Table Runner .If you are looking to add some beautiful ambiance to your home decor, you’ll definitely love this Lacy Crochet Table Runner pattern.

This is a One Row Repeat pattern and hence works up pretty quick. You can also a thread yarn or a worsted weight yarn to make them thick or thick according to your choice.

Let's Start:-

Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Chain 40.
You can adjust the size by altering these stitches according to your requirement.
Start with any Multiple of 5.

Round 2:-
3 Double Crochets in the 7th Chain from the hook. Chain 2. 1 Double Crochet -- make all these stitches in the same stitch.
Skip 4 stitches.
Repeat((3DC,Ch2,1DC),Sk4)
1 Double Crochet in the last stitch.
Once you reach end, Chain2 and use the Straight Edge Turning Chain method to make the turning chain.

Straight Edge Turning Chain:-
Usually you would Chain 2, turn and start working the next round. Here is a quick tip to have a nice straight edge .
  • Insert the hook into the 1st chain from the bottom.
  • Yarn over and pull up a loop. You should have 2 loops on the hook.
  • Turn your project and insert the hook into the first stitch.
  • Yarn over and pull up a loop. You will have 3 loops on the hook.
  • Again, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. You will have 2 loops on the hook.
  • Lastly, yarn over and pull through 2 loops.
  • This will make one Double Crochet.

Round 3 :-
**This Round, we will be working only into the Chain 2 spaces.
3 Double Crochets ,Chain 2,1 Double Crochet- into the 1st Chain 2 space from the previous round.
Repeat((3DC,Ch2,1DC) into each of the Ch2 spaces.
1 Double Crochet into the last stitch.
Once you reach end, Chain 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning Chain method mentioned in the previous round to make the Turning Chain.

Round 4 Onwards :-
Keep Repeating Round 3 untill the size needed and weave off.

Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

Round 1:-
