Today am sharing the tutorial for How To Make A Easy Crochet Puff Stitch Bookmark .The Puff Stitch is a absolute rich and beautifully textured stitch. It is a type of Cluster Stitch that gives volume to the finished stitch.

Materials Used:-

4 Ply Cotton Knitting Yarn

4 mm Crochet Hook

Size:-

8 inches- Customizable to any size

Ch - Chain

DC - Double Crochet

Puff St - Puff Stitch

St/Sts - Stitch/Stitches

YO - Yarn Over

Let's Start...!!!

Round 1:-

Start with a Slip Knot

Chain 4,

1 Puff Stitch into the 3rd Chain from the hook

Chain 1

1 Puff Stitch into the same Stitch.

1 Double Crochet into the last stitch.

Chain 2 and Turn your work.

To make a Puff Stitch.......:-

1. Yarn Over, insert hook into the stitch and pull up a loop. 
2. Pull up the yarn on the hook to a height of a double crochet. Do not complete the stitch(3 loops on the hook)
3. Again, Yarn Over, insert hook in the same stitch and pull up a loop.(5 Loops on the hook).
4. Again, Yarn Over, insert hook in the same stitch and pull up a loop.(7 Loops on the hook).
5. To finish the Puff stitch, Yarn Over and Pull through all the loops.
6. Chain 1.
7. That's 1 Puff Stitch complete.

Round 2:-

**This Round Onwards We Will be Working Only into the Chain 1 Space.

Into the Chain 1 Space make - (1 Puff Stitch ,Chain 1,1 Puff Stitch )

1 Double Crochet into the last stitch.

Chain 2 and Turn your work.

Round 3:-

Keep repeating Round 2 untill its round 7 to 8 inches in size or untill the size needed and weave off.

 

Here is the Summary of the Pattern:- 

Round 1:-

Start with a SL

Ch4,

1 Puff St into the 3rd Ch from the hook

Ch1

1 Puff St into the same St.

1DC into the last St.

Ch2 and Turn your work.

To make a Puff St.......:-

Yarn Over, insert hook into the St and pull up a loop. 

Pull up the yarn on the hook to a height of a double crochet. Do not complete the St(3 loops on the hook)

Again, Yarn Over, insert hook in the same St and pull up a loop.(5 Loops on the hook).

Again, Yarn Over, insert hook in the same St and pull up a loop.(7 Loops on the hook).

To finish the Puff St, Yarn Over and Pull through all the loops.

Ch1.

That's 1 Puff St complete.

Round 2:-

**This Round Onwards We Will be Working Only into the Ch1 Space.

Into the Ch1 Space make - (1Puff St,Ch1,1Puff St)

1DC into the last St.

Ch2 and Turn your work.

Round 3:-

Keep repeating Round 2 untill its round 7 to 8 inches in size or untill the size needed and weave off.
