Today am sharing the pattern for Gradient Crochet Tablemat. I made these as a Part of 2026 International Crochet Month Blog Hop with Marie from Undergroundcrafter.
This pattern is super simple and worked up quickly. Its a One Row Repeat Pattern. You can easily customize it by making it as small or large as needed

Let's Start...!!!
Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Chain 40.
You can adjust the size by altering these stitches according to your requirement.
Round 2:-
1 Half Double Crochet Slip Stitch into the 2nd Chain from the hook.
1 Half Double Crochet Slip stitch into each of the remaining stitches.
Once you reach the end, Chain 1 and Turn you work.
How to Make the Half Double Crochet Slip Stitch....?? Here it is....:-
- Yarn Over and Insert your hook in the Stitch.
- Yarn over and Pull up a Loop - 3 loops on your hook.
- Then pull the first loop on your hook through the other two Loops.
- This will make the Half double crochet slip stitch!
Round 3:-
1 Half Double Slip Stitch into each of the stitches.
Once you reach the end Chain 1 and Turn your work.
Round 4 Onwards:-
Keep repeating Round 3 untill is Square in shape or untill the Size needed and Weave off.
Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-
Round 1:-

This will make the HDC SL!
Round 3:-
1 Half Double Slip St into each of the Sts.
Once you reach the end Ch 1 and Turn your work.
Round 4 Onwards:-
Keep repeating Round 3 untill is Square in shape or untill the Size needed and Weave off.
