The Harvest Stripe Crochet Potholder

Crocheted Potholder patterns are simple projects that you can easily complete in just a few hours. There’s something so satisfying about a quick, functional project that instantly levels up your kitchen decor. 

Today am sharing the pattern for The Harvest Stripe Crochet Potholder. Its a quick working pattern with rich texture. The stitches are made only in the Backloops. Using this dense stitch and variegated yarn you can make a beautiful kitchen essential potholder . This striped potholder brings all the cozy, rustic vibes to your kitchen while being thick enough to handle the heat.




Materials Used:-
Worsted Weight Variegated Yarn - Less than a skein
4 mm Crochet Hook

Size:-
8 inches- Customizable to any size

Abbreviations Used:-
Ch - Chain
SC - Single Crochet
BLSC - Back Loop Single Crochet
St/Sts - Stitch/Stitches

Let's Start:-

Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Chain 34.
You can adjust the size by altering these stitches according to your requirement.
Start with any number of Chains.
Round 2:-
1 Single Crochet in the 2nd Chain from the hook.
1 Single Crochet in each of the remaining stitches.
Once you reach end, Chain 1 and Turn your work.
Round 3 :-
**This round onwards , we will be working only into the Back Loops.
1 Backloop Single crochet in each stitch.
Once you reach the end, Chain 1 and Turn.
Round 4 Onwards :-
Keep repeating Round 3 untill its Square in shape.
Hanging Loop:-
Chain 12.
Slip Stitch into the bottom stitch and weave off.

Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

Round 1:-

1SC in each of the remaining Sts.
Once you reach end, Ch 1 and Turn your work.

1BLSC in each St.
Once you reach the end, Ch 1 and Turn.

Round 4 Onwards :-
Keep repeating Round 3 untill its Square in shape.

Hanging Loop:-
Ch 12.
SL into the bottom St and weave off.
