Lets Start ...!!!!

Round 1:-

Start with a Slip Knot.

Use the **Double Chain to make 40 + 2 Chains extra for the turning chain.

You can adjust the size by altering these stitches according to your requirement.

Start with any Multiple of 8 + 2 Chains Extra for the Turning Chain.

**How to make the Double Chain .....???.. Here it is ..!!! :-

1. Leave a long yarn tail when making the slip knot. This tail will become part of your foundation.
2. Wrap the working yarn around your index finger. Then bring the yarn tail over the crochet hook from front to back. You should now have two loops on your hook.
3. Hold the bottom of the cord securely between your thumb and middle finger. Yarn over with the working yarn and pull it through both loops on the hook. You will have one loop remaining on your hook.
4. Repeat Step 3 until your foundation cord reaches the desired length. Keep your tension even as you work to create a smooth, uniform cord.

Round 2:-

1 Double Crochet in the 4th Chain from the hook.

Chain 2.

Skip 3 Stitches.

1 Single Crochet into the next stitch.

Chain 2

Skip 3 Stitches.

In the next stitch make - 1 Double Crochet V-Stitch(i.e.1 Double Crochet, Chain 2, 1 Double Crochet ).

Chain 2

Skip 3 Stitches.

1 Single Crochet into the next stitch.

Chain 2

Skip 3 Stitches.

Repeat(1DC V-St,Ch2,Sk3,SC,Ch2,Sk3)

2 Double Crochets in the last stitch.

Once you reach end, Chain 1 and Turn your work.

Round 3:-

**This Round Onwards we will be working only into the Single Crochets and In-Between the Double Crochet V-Stitches.

1 Single Crochet into the 1st stitch.

Chain 2.

(2 Double Crochets, Chain 1, 2 Double Crochet ) - into the Single Crochet from the Previous round.

Chain 2

1 Single Crochet into the Double Crochet V-Stitch(i.e. into the Chain 2 Space)

Chain 2

Repeat((2DC,Ch1,2DC)-into the SC,Ch2,1SC into the Ch2 Space of the V-St,Ch2)

1 Single Crochet in the last stitch.

Once you reach end, Chain 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning Chain method to make the Turning Chain.

Straight Edge Turning Chain:-

Usually you would Chain 2, turn and start working the next round. Here is a quick tip to have a nice straight edge .

• Insert the hook into the 1st chain from the bottom.
• Yarn over and pull up a loop. You should have 2 loops on the hook.
• Turn your project and insert the hook into the first stitch.
• Yarn over and pull up a loop. You will have 3 loops on the hook.
• Again, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. You will have 2 loops on the hook.
• Lastly, yarn over and pull through 2 loops.
• This will make one Double Crochet.

Round 4:-

1 Double Crochet  is already made with the Turning Chain.

1 Double Crochet  into the same stitch i.e the 1st Stitch(this will make 2 Double Crochets in the 1st Stitch)

Chain 2.

1 Single Crochet into the Chain 1 Space of the Double Crochet Bunch.

Chain 2

In the next Single Crochet make - 1 Double Crochet V-Stitch(i.e.1 Double Crochet, Chain 2, 1 Double Crochet ).

Chain 2

Repeat(SC(in the Ch1 Space),Ch2,1DC V-St(into the SC),Ch2)

2 Double Crochets in the last stitch.

Once you reach end, Chain 1 and Turn your work.

Round 5 Onwards:-

Keep repeating Round 3 and Round 4 untill the size needed.

Chain 1 and turn your work.

Border:-

1 Single Crochet in the 1st Stitch.

Skip 1 Stitch.

2 Single Crochets into the Chain 2 space.

1 Single Crochet on the next Single Crochet.

2 Single Crochets into the Chain 2 space.

1 Single Crochet into the V-Stitch.

Repeat(2SCs  into each of the Ch2 spaces,1 Single Crochet into each of the SCs and V-Sts)

Skip the 2nd last Stitch.

1 Single Crochet into the last stitch and Weave off.

Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

Repeat(1DC V-St,Ch2,Sk3,SC,Ch2,Sk3)

2 DCs in the last St.

Once you reach end, Ch1 and Turn your work.

Round 3:-

**This Round Onwards we will be working only into the SCs and In-Between the DC V-Sts.

1SC into the 1st St.

Ch2.

(2DCs,Ch1,2DC ) - into the SC from the Previous round.

Ch2

1SC into the DC V-St(i.e. into the Ch2 Space)

Ch2

Repeat((2DC,Ch1,2DC)-into the SC,Ch2,1SC into the Ch2 Space of the V-St,Ch2)

1SC in the last St.

Once you reach end, Ch2 and use the Straight Edge Turning Ch method to make the Turning Ch.

Repeat(SC(in the Ch1 Space),Ch2,1DC V-St(into the SC),Ch2)

2DCs in the last St.

Once you reach end, Ch 1 and Turn your work.

Round 5 Onwards:-

Keep repeating Round 3 and Round 4 untill the size needed.

1SC in the 1st St.
