Single Crochet Square Coaster

Crochet Coasters are one of my all time favorite project to whip up.Crochet coasters are among the easiest patterns to make.

They are quick and easy to make and they are also just easy enough for a beginner. Small and easy to complete.

They also make great gifts for friends, family and colleagues be it any occasion.

Lately, I have been busy whipping up Coasters after Coasters.....and obviously I want to share those with you. So, in my upcoming posts I will be sharing some pretty easy Crochet Patterns.

Lets start with the most simple coaster to make. Here is the pattern for Single Crochet Square Coaster.

Materials Used:-
Yarn( Two Colors)
Crochet Hook

It's always advisable to use cotton yarn for Coasters.

Start with a Slip Knot.

Chain 20.

This Coaster would come up to approximately 10 centimeters.

Single Crochet in the second chain from the hook.

One Single Crochet each in the remaining stitches.

Chain One and turn.

Repeat One Single Crochet in Each stitch all along.

Chain One and turn to start the next round.

Continue making untill you make a Square.

Change Color at the last round to make the Coaster Edge.

2 Single Crochet in the corner stitch and One Single Crochet each in the remaining stitches on the sides.

Make 2 Single Crochet in the Corner Stitches and continue with One Single crochet on the  other sides.

Continue untill the last stitch and Slip Stitch to the first single crochet.

Weave off the yarn tail.

That's it!!!! You can also alternate colors and get a stripped coaster. Let your creativity take the stride!!!!

Happy Crocheting!!!!
