Christmas Gift Card Holder Free Crochet Pattern

Christmas crochet patterns are so much fun to make, especially since they really put you in a cheery mood. Am sure you must have started making your Christmas Gifts long back. Handmade Christmas gifts are always a favourite and they add a personal touch and show how much you care!!!!

So what have you decided ????...Are you giving gift cards or cash this year for Christmas? Do you want to add a little personal touch to your holiday gifts but you don’t have time to make a big project? Don't worry , you have come to the right place. Here am sharing a very cute little Christmas Themed Gift Card Holder.

You will love how quickly these Gift Card holders work up.You can also use them as your Christmas tree ornament.

Materials Used:-
Yarn (Red and Green)
Crochet Hook
Wooden Button

Here is the Video Tutorial:-

Start with a Slip Knot using the Red Color Yarn.

Chain 19.

Single crochet in the 2nd chain from the from the hook.
Continue with 1 Single Crochet each in rest of the stitches.

Once you reach the end ,change to Green Color Yarn.

This ensures the color change a lot more neater to look at.Chain 1 and turn.

1 Single Crochet in each stitch all along.

Follow the same color changing technique.

At end of each row chain 1 and turn your project to start the next round.

Keep Working untill its around 12 centimetres.

Now fold the piece and join the edges with single crochets.

There it is.... the pocket is ready.

I used Red Color yarn for the edges but you can play around with Green Color yarn or any other color of your choice.

Time to sew the button.

I had Two buttons...... a Snowflake and a Star !!!!!
I chose to go with the Snowflake one !!!!!!

For making the Button Loop, join the Green color yarn in the centre with a slip stitch.

Chain 10.

Slip stitch on the same stitch and weave off.

You can adjust the chain stitches by increasing or decreasing according to the size of the button you are using.

See......it works up in no time at all!!!!

Fill it up with goodies....cash....cards.....and you are good to go!!!!!!!!
