Two Round Easy Crochet Christmas Star Ornament

If you are anywhere like me, am sure you can’t get enough of handmade crochet decorations. Holiday crochet projects are one the most fun and enjoyable projects to make. They instantly put you in the festive mood. At this time of the year, everyone gets busy in making their DIY Christmas Decorations.

When you think of making Christmas decorations, the first thing which comes to your mind is STARS!!!Today am sharing the pattern for this super easy and quick to whip up Two Round Crochet Christmas Star Ornament. This pattern is incredibly easy to make.

Crochet these Christmas Star Ornaments to decorate your Christmas tree, wreaths, for Gift wrapping topper, Mantel decoration or use them as garland along with Christmas lights. They also make cute personalized gifts to your loved ones. You can also use them as decorations and appliques for any time of year. It's a great way to use up your stash of scrap yarn.




Materials Used:-

  • 4 Ply Cotton Knitting Yarn 
  • 4 mm Crochet Hook 
Size:-
3 Inches

Pin it and Save for Later:-






Round 1:-
Start with a Magic Circle.
Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch)
3 Double Crochets
Chain 3
Repeat(3DC, Ch3) untill you have total 5 chain spaces.
Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.




Round 2:-
Slip stitch into the next stitch.
3 Double Crochets in the chain space.
Chain 3
3 Double Crochets in the same chain space.
Slip stitch on top of the middle Double Crochet(i.e. the 2nd Double Crochet)
Repeat((3DC,Ch 3, 3DC)- (all in the same chain space), SL on top the 2nd DC)





Hanging Loop:-
Chain 15 and 1 Single Crochet in the same stitch.
You can also make the loop with a Satin Ribbon of any other Decorative thread or string of your choice. 


Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

Round 1:-
Start with a Magic Circle.

Ch 3

SL on top of the first DC.

Round 2:-
SL into the next stitch.
3 DCs in the Ch space.
Ch 3
3 DCs in the same Ch space.
SL on top of the middle DC(i.e. the 2nd DC)
Repeat((3DC,Ch 3, 3DC)- (all in the same Ch space), SL on top the 2nd DC)
