Two Row Repeat Quick and Simple Crochet Scarf Pattern


Crochet scarf patterns are awesomely easy to make. I love making crochet scarves. They are not only fun to make but also very quick projects that you can easily complete in a day. Crochet Scarves are the most fun , easy and quick projects to whip up. With just simple stitches you can make yourself a pretty and cozy crochet scarf. They also make beautiful gifts for your loved ones.

Here is a very pretty and simple crochet scarf pattern that you will definitely have fun to make. Today am sharing the Pattern for a Two Row Repeat Quick and Simple Crochet Scarf. The pattern is made by repeating only 2 rounds untill you reach the size needed. The easy repeat pattern makes this project a fast make.




Materials Used:-
10 Ply Cotton Bulky Yarn 
5 mm Crochet Hook

Size:-
7 / 40 Inches - can be customized to any size

Lets Start .... !!!

Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Chain 24 + 2 Chains for the turning chain.
This measures around 7 inches.
You can adjust the size of the scarf by altering these stitches according to your requirement.
Start with any Multiple of 3 + 2  chains extra for the turning chain.


Round 2:-
3 Double Crochets in the Sixth Chain from the hook.
Skip 2 Stitches.
Repeat(3DC,Sk2)
1 Double Crochet in the last stitch.
Once you reach end, Chain 2.

Straight Edge Turning Chain:-
Usually you would Chain 2, turn and start working the next round. Here is a quick tip to have a nice straight edge .
  • Insert the hook into the 1st chain from the bottom.
  • Yarn over and pull up a loop. You should have 2 loops on the hook.
  • Turn your project and insert the hook into the first stitch.
  • Yarn over and pull up a loop. You will have 3 loops on the hook.
  • Again, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. You will have 2 loops on the hook.
  • Lastly, yarn over and pull through 2 loops.
  • This will make one Double Crochet.









Round 3:-
(1 Double Crochet is already made while making the turning chain)
1 DC V - Stitch(i.e (1 Double Crochet, Chain 1, 1 Double Crochet in the same stitch) in the middle stitch of the 3 Double Crochets from the previous round.
Repeat ((1DC V-Stitch)- in each of the middle stitch of the 3DC's from previous round)
1 Double Crochet in the last stitch.
Once you reach end, Chain 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning method mentioned in the previous round to make the turning chain.












Round 4:-
(1 Double Crochet is already made while making the turning chain)
3 Double Crochets in between each of the V-Stitches.(i.e.in each of the Chain 1 space).
1 Double Crochet in the last stitch.
Once you reach end, Chain 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning method to make the turning chain.











Round 5:-
(1 Double Crochet is already made while making the turning chain)
1 DC V - Stitch(i.e (1 Double Crochet, Chain 1, 1 Double Crochet in the same stitch) in the middle stitch of the 3 Double Crochets from the previous round.
Repeat ((1DC V-Stitch)- in each of the middle stitch of the 3DC's from previous round)
1 Double Crochet in the last stitch.
Once you reach end, Chain 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning method to make the turning chain.









Round 6 Onwards:-
Keep repeating Round 4 and Round 5 untill the size needed and weave off.




Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

Round 1:-

Repeat ((1DC V-St)- in each of the middle St of the 3DC's from previous round)
1DC in the last St.
Once you reach end, Ch 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning method mentioned in the previous round to make the turning Ch.

Round 4:-
(1DC is already made while making the turning Ch)
3DCs in between each of the V-Sts.(i.e.in each of the Ch 1 space).
1DC in the last St.
Once you reach end, Ch 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning method to make the turning Ch.

Round 5:-
(1DC is already made while making the turning Ch)
1DC V - St(i.e (1DC, Ch 1, 1DC in the same St) in the middle St of the 3DCs from the previous round.
Repeat ((1DC V-St)- in each of the middle St of the 3DC's from previous round)
1DC in the last St.
Once you reach end, Ch 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning method to make the turning Ch.

Round 6 Onwards:-
Keep repeating Round 4 and Round 5 untill the size needed and weave off.
