Two Row Repeat Easy Crochet Table Runner

Today am sharing the pattern for Two Row Repeat Easy Crochet Table Runner. The pattern is super simple made with basic crochet stitches. It 's just a Two Row repeat pattern which makes it even more simple and exciting to work upon. A crocheted table runner is the perfect project to add elegance and jazz up your home decor. They would also make awesome gifts for your loved ones. You can also color code them according to the holiday seasons or your Home ambiance.

Let's Start:-

Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Chain 42 + 6  Chains for the Turning Chain.
This measures around 8 inches.
You can adjust the size of the Table Runner by altering these stitches according to your requirement.
Start with any number Multiple of 7 + 6 Chains extra for the turning chain.



Round 2:-
1 Double Crochet in the 4th Chain from the hook.
1 Double Crochet each in the next 2 Stitches(that's total 4 Double Crochet made)
Skip 1.
1 Double Crochet in the next stitch.
Chain 2.
3 Front Post Double Crochet in the same Double Crochet made.
Skip 1.
Repeat(1DC*4,Sk1,(1DC,Ch2,3FPDC),Sk1).
Once you reach end, Chain 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning Chain to make the turning chain.

Straight Edge Turning Chain:-
Usually you would Chain 2, turn and start working the next round. Here is a quick tip to have a nice straight edge .
  • Insert the hook into the 1st chain from the bottom.
  • Yarn over and pull up a loop. You should have 2 loops on the hook.
  • Turn your project and insert the hook into the first stitch.
  • Yarn over and pull up a loop. You will have 3 loops on the hook.
  • Again, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. You will have 2 loops on the hook.
  • Lastly, yarn over and pull through 2 loops.
  • This will make one Double Crochet.














Round 3:-
(1 Double Crochet is already made while making the turning chain)
1 Double Crochet each in the next 3 Stitches(that's total 4 Double Crochets made).
Chain 1.
1 Single Crochet into the Chain 2 Space from the previous round.
Chain 1.
Repeat(1DC*4,Ch1,1SC(into Ch2 Space),Ch1).
Once you reach the end ,Chain 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning chain method  mentioned in the previous round to make the turning chain.











Round 4:-
(1 Double Crochet is already made while making the turning chain)
1 Double Crochet each in the next 3 Stitches(that's total 4 Double Crochet made)
Skip the Chain 1.
1 Double Crochet on the Single Crochet from previous round.
Chain 2.
3 Front Post Double Crochet in the same Double Crochet made.
Skip the Chain 1.
Repeat(1DC*4,Sk Ch,(1DC,Ch2,3FPDC),Sk Ch).
Once you reach end, Chain 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning Chain to make the turning chain.











Round 5:-
(1 Double Crochet is already made while making the turning chain)
1 Double Crochet each in the next 3 Stitches(that's total 4 Double Crochets made).
Chain 1.
1 Single Crochet into the Chain 2 Space from the previous round.
Chain 1.
Repeat(1DC*4,Ch1,1SC(into Ch2 Space),Ch1).
Once you reach the end ,Chain 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning chain method to make the turning chain.







Round 6:-
Keep repeating Round 4 and Round 5 untill the size needed and weave off.

Round 4:-
(1DC is already made while making the turning Ch)
1DC each in the next 3 Stitches(that's total 4 DC made)
Sk the Ch 1.
1DC on the SC from previous round.
Ch2.
3 FPDC in the same DC made.
Sk the Ch 1.
Repeat(1DC*4,Sk Ch,(1DC,Ch2,3FPDC),Sk Ch).
Once you reach end, Ch2 and use the Straight Edge Turning Ch to make the turning Ch.

Round 5:-
(1DC is already made while making the turning Ch)
1DC each in the next 3 Stitches(that's total 4 DCs made).
Ch 1.
1SC into the Ch2 Space from the previous round.
Ch 1.
Repeat(1DC*4,Ch1,1SC(into Ch2 Space),Ch1).
Once you reach the end ,Ch2 and use the Straight Edge Turning Ch method to make the turning Ch.

Round 6:-
Keep repeating Round 4 and Round 5 untill the size needed and weave off.
