How To Crochet A Simple Flower Embellishment

Today am sharing the tutorial on How To Crochet A Simple Flower Embellishment. Its a super quick working pattern made with the basic crochet stitches. These are best for accessorizing your Crochet Blankets, Scarves ,Bags , Hats,Pillows and any Clothing accessory.

These Crochet Flowers are best to use up your scrap yarn bundle that you might have in your Yarn Stash. They are also great for last minute Gift Toppers.

Let's Start...!!!

Round 1:-
Start with a Magic Circle.
Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch. It is just to bring the yarn to a working height)
12 Half Double Crochets in the circle.
Pull the yarn end to close the gap.
Slip Stitch on top of the first Half Double Crochet.


Round 2:-

Chain 2.(Not Counted as a Stitch)
2 Half Double Crochets in each stitch around.
Slip stitch on top of the first Half Double Crochet.
24 stitches.

Round 3:-
Chain 5.
Skip 3 stitches.
1 Single Crochet in the next stitch.
Repeat(Ch5,Sk3,1SC)

Round 4:-
Slip Stitch into the Chain 5 space.
Change the yarn color while making the Slip Stitch.
Chain 1(not counted as a stitch)
1 Single Crochet,
1 Half Double Crochet,
7 Double Crochets,
1 Half Double Crochet,
1 Single Crochet.
Repeat(1SC,1HDC,7DC,1HDC,1SC) in each of the Chain 5 space.
Once you reach the end, make a slip stitch on top of the First Single Crochet and Weave off.

Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

Round 1:-

12HDC in the circle.
Pull the yarn end to close the gap.
SL on top of the first HDC.

Round 2:-
Ch2.(Not Counted as a St)
2HDC in each St around.
SL on top of the first HDC.
24 Sts.

Round 3:-
Ch5.
Sk 3 Sts.
1SC in the next St.
Repeat(Ch5,Sk3,1SC)

Round 4:-
SL into the Ch5 space.
Change the yarn color while making the SL.
Ch1(not counted as a St)
1SC,
1HDC,
7DCs,
1HDC,
1SC.
Repeat(1SC,1HDC,7DC,1HDC,1SC) in each of the Ch5 space.
Once you reach the end, make a SL on top of the 1st SC and Weave off.
