Super Easy Lemon Peel Textured Crochet Blanket


Crochet Blanket patterns are a favourite among many crocheters. The idea of making a blanket might seem overwhelming. But using a simple and basic crochet stitches often makes it a fun project to make. Crochet Blankets are the best choice for gifting to your loved ones, be it any occasion.

Today am sharing the pattern for a Super Easy Lemon Peel Textured Crochet Blanket. The lemon peel stitch which is often also known as the crochet Griddle Stitch is a very pretty and easy crochet stitch. It is made with just Single Crochets and Double Crochets which are worked on alternatively. This gives the stitch a lovely zig zag textured look.




Materials Used:-
10 Ply Cotton Yarn
6 mm Crochet Hook

Size:-
39 inches- Customizable to any size

Ch - Chain
DC - Double Crochet
SC  Single Crochet
St/Sts - Stitch/Stitches

Let's Start:-

Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Chain 81.
You can adjust the size of the blanket by altering these stitches according to your requirement.
Start with any number Odd number of chains.

Round 2:-
1 Single Crochet in the Second Chain from the hook.
1 Double Crochet in the next stitch.
Repeat(1SC,1DC)
Once you reach end, Chain 1 and turn your work.

Round 3:-
1 Single Crochet in the 1st stitch.
1 Double Crochet in the next stitch.
Repeat(1SC,1DC)
Once you reach end, Chain 1 and turn your work.

Round 4 Onwards:-
Keep Repeating Round 3 untill the size needed and weave off.

Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

Round 1:-

Once you reach end, Ch 1 and turn your work.

Round 4 Onwards:-
Keep Repeating Round 3 untill the size needed and weave off.
