Cool Seaway Crochet Fingerless Gloves

Fingerless Gloves Patterns are often simple to follow. They are fun , quick and a highly functional make. Even simple patterned fingerless gloves are a great accessory to compliment any outfit. They can be made either by working back and forth in rows and joining the ends or they can also be made by working in rounds.

Today am sharing the pattern for Cool Seaway Crochet Fingerless Gloves. I have used cake yarn with shades of blue which represents a calm ocean, hence the name Cool Seaway Crochet Fingerless Gloves. This is a Two Row Repeat Pattern and thus it works up really quick.

The pattern is made with Mixed Cluster Stitch. The Mixed Cluster stitch is a very easy and quick working stitch. This stitch is a mixture of Single Crochet, Cluster Stitch, and Half Double Crochet.



 

Materials Used:-

Variegated Yarn (1 Skein)
4 mm Crochet Hook

Size:-

8 inches - Customizable to any size

Ch - Chain

HDC - Half Double Crochet

SC  Single Crochet

St/Sts - Stitch/Stitches

YO - Yarn Over

Notes:-

• The gloves are worked back and forth in rows which lays flat lengthwise.
• You can adjust the size and make wider or narrower gloves by working more or less rows.
• You can make shorter or longer gloves by changing the starting number of Foundation Chains.

Lets Start .... !!!

Round 1:-

Start with a Slip Knot.

Chain 40.

This measures around 8 inches.

You can adjust the size to your need by altering these stitches according to your requirement.

Start with any Multiple of 2.

Round 2:-

1 Single Crochet in the 2nd Chain from the hook.

1 Single Crochet each in the remaining stitches.

Once you reach end, Chain 1 and turn your work.

Round 3:-

1 Half Double Crochet in the 1st Stitch.

Yarn Over, insert hook into the same Stitch as the Half Double Crochet, Yarn Over, pull up a loop(3 loops on the hook)

Yarn over pull through 2 loops.(2 loops on the hook)

Skip next Stitch, Yarn over insert hook into the next, Yarn Over, pull up a loop.(4 loops on the hook)

Yarn Over, insert hook into the same Stitch, Yarn Over, pull up a loop (6 loops on hook).

Yarn Over, pull through all the 6 loops.

Chain 1 to complete the Stitch.

**Yarn Over, insert hook into the same Stitch as in the previous Mixed Cluster Stitch , pull up a loop(3 loops on the hook)

Yarn Over, pull through 2 loops(2 loops on the hook)

Skip next Stitch, 

Yarn Over, insert hook into the next, Yarn Over, pull up a loop.(4 loops on the hook)

Yarn Over, insert hook into the same Stitch, Yarn Over, pull up a loop (6 loops on hook).

Yarn Over, pull through all the 6 loops ,,

Chain 1.**

Repeat from ** to **.

Do Not Chain 1 while making the last Mixed Cluster Stitch.

Instead ,finish off with 1 Half Double Crochet in the last Stitch.

Chain 1 and turn.

Round 4:-

1 Single Crochet in each stitch.

Once you reach end, Chain 1 and turn your work.

Round 5 Onwards:-

Keep Repeating Round 3 and Round 4 untill its square in shape or untill the size needed.

Joining:-

Keep the Front Side facing up.

Fold the piece into half from bottom to up.

1 Single Crochet in each of the 6 stitches or untill its around 1 inch in size and weave off.

Leave around 1 or 2 inches gap for the thumb , join yarn and continue with 1 Single Crochet in each untill the end and weave off the yarn ends.

You can adjust the size of the thumb gap according to your need.

Turn the glove inside out.

**Follow the same pattern (from Round 1 to Joining) for making the other Glove.

Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

**YO, insert hook into the same St as in the previous Mixed Cluster St , pull up a loop(3 loops on the hook)

YO, pull through 2 loops(2 loops on the hook)

Sk next St, 

YO, insert hook into the next, YO, pull up a loop.(4 loops on the hook)
