Crochet blankets are a popular choice among crafters because of how amazingly versatile they are. Just by using simple stitch patterns combined with different yarn colors and textures you can create wonderful and comfy crocheted blanket. You can also easily alter the blanket size to your liking by changing the number of starting chain stitches.
Today am sharing the pattern for Rich Primrose Crochet Blanket Two Row Repeat Pattern. The Primrose Stitch is a stunning stitch which is quick and easy to work up. Its a Two Row repeat pattern and the unique stitch creates a beautiful textured finish. The Primrose Stitch looks great with other crochet projects such as scarves ,Tablemats ,Potholders and many more.

Round 2:-
In the 3rd Chain from the hook make -(1 Single Crochet, Chain 2,1 Single Crochet)-all in the same stitch.
Skip 2 stitches.
Repeat((1SC,Ch2,1SC),Sk2).
1 Half Double Crochet in the last stitch.
Once you reach end, Chain 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning Chain to make the turning chain.
Straight Edge Turning Chain:-
Usually you would Chain 2, turn and start working the next round. Here is a quick tip to have a nice straight edge .
- Insert the hook into the 1st chain from the bottom.
- Yarn over and pull up a loop. You should have 2 loops on the hook.
- Turn your project and insert the hook into the first stitch.
- Yarn over and pull up a loop. You will have 3 loops on the hook.
- Again, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. You will have 2 loops on the hook.
- Lastly, yarn over and pull through 2 loops.
- This will make one Double Crochet.
Round 3:-
**This Round we will be working only into the Chain 2 spaces.
3 Double Crochets in each of the Chain 2 spaces.
1 Double Crochet in the last stitch.
Once you reach the end ,Chain 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning chain to make the turning chain.
Round 4:-
**This Round we will be working only into the Middle Stitch of the 3 Double Crochet bunch(i.e.into the 2nd Stitch of each bunch) .
(1 Single Crochet, Chain 2,1 Single Crochet) into each of the middle stitch of the 3 Double Crochet bunch.
1 Double Crochet in the last stitch.
Once you reach end, Chain 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning Chain to make the turning chain.
Round 5 Onwards:-
Keep repeating Round 3 and Round 4 untill the size needed and weave off.
Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Ch 99 + 2 Ch for the turning Ch.
This measures around 40 inches.
You can adjust the size of the blanket by altering these Sts according to your requirement.
Start with any multiple of 3 + 2 Chs for the turning Ch.
Round 2:-
In the 3rd Ch from the hook make -(1SC,Ch2,1SC)-all in the same St.
Sk 2 Sts.
Repeat((1SC,Ch2,1SC),Sk2).
1HDC in the last St.
Once you reach end,Ch2 and use the Straight Edge Turning Ch to make the turning Ch.
