Crochet Teddy Bear Coaster Free Pattern


If you are in a mood to hook up a quick cute and adorable crochet animal pattern, then here it is. One cannot go wrong with any crochet teddy bear pattern. They just turn up so adorable. You can easily make many crochet projects with those cute teddy bear faces. Crochet Blankets, pillow, Baskets, Hats , placemats and many more you can think of.

Today am sharing the pattern for these easy Crochet Teddy Bear Coaster. They are awesomely quick and easy pattern to follow. These would be perfect coaster for your mugs cups and drinks. These would also make awesome gifts for your loved ones for any occasion.



 

Materials Used:-
  • 8 Ply Yarn - Two Shades
  • Black Yarn for Eyes and Muzzle
  • 4mm Crochet Hook
Size:-
5.5 Inches

Notes:-
For this whole Pattern, the Starting Chain 2 is not counted as a stitch. It is Just to bring the yarn to a working height. Start the next stitch in the same stitch.

Let's Start!!

Round 1:-
Start with a Magic Circle.
12 Double Crochets in the circle.
Pull the yarn end to close the gap.
Slip Stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
12 Stitches.

Round 2:-
Chain 2.
2 Double Crochets in each stitch around.
Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
24 stitches.

Round 3:-
Chain 2. 1 Double Crochet in the same stitch.
2 Double Crochets in the next stitch.
Repeat*(1DC, 2DC).
Slip Stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
36 Stitches.

Round 4:-
Chain 2. 
1 Double Crochet each in 2 stitches.
2 Double Crochets in the next stitch.
Repeat*(1DC*2, 2DC)
Slip Stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
48 Stitches.

Round 5:-
Chain 2. 
1 Double Crochet each in 3 stitches.
2 Double Crochets in the next stitch.
Repeat*(1DC*3 2DC)
Slip Stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
Change color while making the slip stich.
60 Stitches.

Round 6:-
Chain 1(Not Counted as a stitch)
(1 Single Crochet, 5 Double Crochets, 1Single Crochet)- all in the same stitch.
This make the first ear.
1 Single Crochet each in the next 16 stitches.
(1 Single Crochet, 5 Double Crochets, 1Single Crochet)- all in the same stitch.
This makes the Second Ear.
1 Single Crochet each in the remaining stitches.
Slip stitch on top of the first Single Crochet and weave off.





Eyes:-(Make 2)
Start with a Magic Circle.
Chain 1(not counted as a stitch)
6 Single Crochets in the Magic Circle.
Pull the yarn end to close the loop.
Slip Stitch on top of the first Single Crochet.

Using a yarn needle , Sew both the eyes on the coaster.




Muzzle:-
Sew the muzzle with the help of a yarn needle.

You can alternate the colors to your liking

Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-
Round 1:-
Start with a Magic Circle.
12 DCs in the circle.
Pull the yarn end to close the gap.
SL on top of the first DC.
12 Stitches.

Round 2:-
Chain 2.
2 DCs in each stitch around.
SL on top of the first DC.
24 stitches.

Round 3:-
Chain 2. 1 DC in the same stitch.
2 DCs in the next stitch.
Repeat*(1DC, 2DC).
SL on top of the first DC.
36 Stitches.

Round 4:-
Chain 2. 
1 DC each in 2 stitches.
2 DCs in the next stitch.
Repeat*(1DC*2, 2DC)
SL on top of the first DC.
48 Stitches.

Round 5:-
Chain 2. 
1 DC each in 3 stitches.
2 DCs in the next stitch.
Repeat*(1DC*3 2DC)
SL on top of the first DC.
Change color while making the slip stich.
60 Stitches.

Round 6:-
Chain 1(Not Counted as a stitch)
(1 SC, 5 DCs, 1SC)- all in the same stitch.
This make the first ear.
1 SC each in the next 16 stitches.
(1 SC, 5 DCs, 1SC)- all in the same stitch.
This makes the Second Ear.
1 SC each in the remaining stitches.
SL on top of the first SC and weave off.

Eyes:-(Make 2)
Start with a Magic Circle.
Chain 1(not counted as a stitch)
6 SCs in the Magic Circle.
Pull the yarn end to close the loop.
SL on top of the first SC.
Using a yarn needle , Sew both the eyes on the coaster.

Muzzle:-
Sew the muzzle with the help of a yarn needle.
