How To Crochet Easy Autumn Fall Leaves


Making Crocheted Leaves during the Autumn Season is always a favorite project of many crafters. There are variety of ways to make a  Crochet Leaf . Crochet Leaf Motifs are pretty easy and quick to whip up. These crocheted leaves can be used for decoration during any time of the year. Just change the color of the yarn to match the holiday season and you are set to go.

Today am sharing the pattern for very easy Crochet Autumn Fall Leaves. The pattern is very simple made with easy crochet stitches. The textured look is made by working  only in the back loops. You can make this in any size of your choice by changing the starting number of chain stitches.




Materials Used:-
8 Ply Yarn
4 mm Crochet Hook

Size:-
5 inches (including the stem)- Customizable to any size

Let's Start...!!!

Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Chain 16.
This measures around 4 inches.
You can adjust the size of the leaf by altering these stitches according to your requirement.

Round 2:-
1 Single Crochet in the 2nd Chain from the hook.
1 Single Crochet in each stitch untill the last stitch
(1 Single Crochet , Chain 1 , 1 Single Crochet) - in the last stitch.
Mark this stitch with a stitch marker.
Continue working on the opposite side.
1 Single Crochet in each stitch untill you have 2 stitch left.
Chain 2.
1 Single Crochet in the 1st Chain and turn your work.






Round 3:-
This Round onwards we will be working only in the back loops.
1 Back Loop Single Crochet in each stitch untill the marked stitch.
(1 Single Crochet , Chain 1 , 1 Single Crochet) - in the marked stitch.
Mark the new stitch with a stitch marker.
1 Back Loop Single Crochet in each stitch untill you have 2 stitch left.
Chain 2.
1 Single Crochet in the 1st Chain and turn your work.





Round 4:-
1 Back Loop Single Crochet in each stitch untill the marked stitch.
(1 Single Crochet , Chain 1 , 1 Single Crochet) - in the marked stitch.
Mark the new stitch with a stitch marker.
1 Back Loop Single Crochet in each stitch untill you have 2 stitch left.
Chain 2.
1 Single Crochet in the 1st Chain and turn your work.




Round 5 Onwards:-
Keep repeating Round 4 untill you have 4 points on each side of the leaf.
Finish off the last round with 1 Single Crochet in the marked stitch.
















Stem:-
Chain 6.
1 Single Crochet in the 2nd Chain from the hook.
1 Single Crochet each in the remaining stitches.
Slip Stitch into the bottom stitch and weave off.








Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.

Ch 2.
1 SC in the 1st Ch and turn your work.

1 BLSC in each St untill the marked St.
(1 SC , Ch 1 , 1 SC) - in the marked St.
Mark the new St with a St marker.
1 BLSC in each St untill you have 2 St left.
Ch 2.
1 SC in the 1st Ch and turn your work.

Round 5 Onwards:-
Keep repeating Round 4 untill you have 4 points on each side of the leaf.
Finish off the last round with 1 SC in the marked St.

Stem:-
Ch 6.
1 SC in the 2nd Ch from the hook.
1 SC each in the remaining Sts.
Slip St into the bottom St and weave off.
