The Crochet projects made with Double Crochet Cluster stitch are the most fun to make. You will just love how fast the stitch works up. The stitch uses basic stitches makes it perfect pattern for any skill level of Crocheter.
Today am sharing the pattern for a Quick Crochet Cluster Blanket. This is Two Row repeat pattern made with simple stitches. The pattern is made with a row of Double Crochet Cluster stitches and a row of Single Crochets worked alternatively. You can easily alter the blanket size according to your choice. Make it as long or wide as you wish by changing the starting number of stitches.
Materials Used:-
8 Ply Yarn
4 mm Crochet Hook
Size:-
35 inches- Customizable to any size

Let's Start...!!!
Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Chain 100.
This measures around 35 inches.
You can adjust the size of the blanket by altering these stitches according to your requirement.
Start with any even number of chains.
Round 2:-
1 Single Crochet in the Second Chain from the hook.
1 Single Crochet each in the remaining stitches.
Once you reach end, Chain 2.
Straight Edge Turning Chain:-
Usually you would Chain 2, turn and start working the next round. Here is a quick tip to have a nice straight edge .
- Insert the hook into the 1st chain from the bottom.
- Yarn over and pull up a loop. You should have 2 loops on the hook.
- Turn your project and insert the hook into the first stitch.
- Yarn over and pull up a loop. You will have 3 loops on the hook.
- Again, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. You will have 2 loops on the hook.
- Lastly, yarn over and pull through 2 loops.
- This will make one Double Crochet.
Round 3:-
(1 Double Crochet is already made while making the turning chain)
1 Double Crochet Cluster in the next stitch.
Skip 1 Stitch.
Repeat(1DC Cluster, Skip 1)
1 Double Crochet in the last stitch.
Once you reach end, Chain 1 and turn your work.
To Make a Double Crochet Cluster Stitch:-
- Yarn over, insert the hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on the hook.(This is same as doing a Double Crochet Stitch. It is just that , you don't finish the Double Crochet Stitch and continue doing the first part of the Double Crochet Stitch again and again).You should have 2 loops on the hook.
- Yarn over, insert the hook in the same stitch, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. You should have 3 loops on the hook.
- Continue with the first part of Double Crochet stitch untill you have 4 loops on the hook.
- Yarn over and draw the yarn through all 4 loops on the hook.
- Chain 1.
Round 4:-
1 Single Crochet in the first stitch.
Chain 1.
1 Single Crochet in between the next 2 Clusters.
Chain 1.
Repeat(1 SC(in between the 2 Clusters) , Chain 1)
Once you reach end, Chain 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning Chain mentioned in Round 2 to make the turning chain.
Round 5:-
(1 Double Crochet is already made while making the turning chain)
1 Double Crochet Cluster in each of the Chain 1 Spaces.
1 Double Crochet in the last stitch.
Once you reach the end, Chain 1 and turn your work.
Round 6:-
Keep repeating Round 4 and Round 5 untill the size needed and weave off.
Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-
Round 1:-

1 DC Cluster in the next St.
Skip 1 St.
Repeat(1DC Cluster, Skip 1)
1 DC in the last St.
Once you reach end, Ch 1 and turn your work.
To Make a DC Cluster St:-
Yarn over, insert the hook into the St, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on the hook.(This is same as doing a DC St. It is just that , you don't finish the DC St and continue doing the first part of the DC St again and again).You should have 2 loops on the hook.
Yarn over, insert the hook in the same St, yarn over and pull through 2 loops. You should have 3 loops on the hook.
Continue with the first part of DC St untill you have 4 loops on the hook.
Yarn over and draw the yarn through all 4 loops on the hook.
Ch 1.
Round 4:-
1 SC in the first St.
Ch 1.
1 SC in between the next 2 Clusters.
Ch 1.
Repeat(1 SC(in between the 2 Clusters) , Ch 1)
Once you reach end, Ch 2 and use the Straight Edge Turning Ch mentioned in Round 2 to make the turning Ch.
Round 5:-
(1 DC is already made while making the turning Ch)
1 DC Cluster in each of the Ch 1 Spaces.
1 DC in the last St.
Once you reach the end, Ch 1 and turn your work.
Round 6:-
Keep repeating Round 4 and Round 5 untill the size needed and weave off.
