Easy Crochet Blanket Pattern with Variegated Yarn


One of the best way to enjoy making a Crochet Blanket is to use a repetitive stitch pattern. Repetitive and One Row repeat patterns are great and fun to sit and relax while crocheting. There are a lot of crochet blanket patterns with repetitive and onw row repeat stitches. Crochet blankets are the best patterns and often easy to whip up and keep us snuggly during the cooler months. Plus they make the best gifts for friends and family.

Here is a Easy Crochet Blanket Pattern with Variegated Yarn. You will love working with variegated yarn because of how easy they make it to create a pretty striped effect without having to change colors with every round.




Materials Used:-
8 Ply Cotton Yarn 
4 mm Crochet Hook

Size:-
38 inches- Customizable to any size

Let's Start:-

Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Chain 100 + 2 Chains for the turning Chain.
This measures around 38 inches.
You can adjust the size of the blanket by altering these stitches according to your requirement.
Start with any even number of Chains + 2 chains extra for the turning chain.



Round 2:-
1 Single Crochet in the Second Chain from the hook.
1 Single Crochet each in the remaining stitches.
Once you reach end, Chain 1 and turn your work.



Round 3:-
1 Single Crochet in the First stitch.
Skip 2 stitches.
in the next stitch make - 1 Single Crochet, 1 Half Double Crochet, 1 Double Crochet - all in the same stitch.
Skip 2.
Repeat((1SC,1HDC,1DC)-all in the same stitch), Skip 2).
1 Single Crochet in the last stitch.
Chain 1 and turn your work.





Round 4:-
(We will be working only in the Single Crochets)
In the first stitch make - 1 Single Crochet, 1 Half Double Crochet , 1 Double Crochet in the stitch from 1 Row below.
Skip the next 2 stitches.
Repeat(1SC,1HDC,1DC(in the stitch from 1 row below) , Skip 2)
1 Single Crochet in the last stitch.
Chain 1 and turn your work.








Round 5 Onwards:-
Keep repeating Round 4 untill the size needed and weave off.






Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

Round 1:-

Sk the next 2 Sts.
Repeat(1SC,1HDC,1DC(in the St from 1 row below) , Sk 2)
1 SC in the last St.
Ch 1 and turn your work.

Round 5 Onwards:-
Keep repeating Round 4 untill the size needed and weave off.
