Doilies are always so beautiful and elegant for home decor and they also add a wonderful ambiance to your home. Flowers and Crochet go hand in hand. Today am sharing the pattern for this simple Blooming Flower Crochet Doily. It is an easy doily pattern which works up pretty quick and is also easy for complete beginners.
This elegant doily will be perfect for your dining room, Centre Table or kitchen. I have used Blue and Yellow color. You can make them in any color you want. They would also make great gifts for your loved ones.
Materials Used:-
4 Ply Cotton Knitting Yarn
4 mm Crochet Hook
Size:-
11 inches ( Can be customized to any size)
Notes:-
The Starting chain is not counted as a stitch. It is just to bring the yarn to a working height.

Round 1:-
Start with a Magic Circle.
Chain 5.(The First 4 Chains will be counted as 1 Treble Crochet and the remaining stitch will be counted as Chain 1 space.)
Repeat*(1Trbl, Chain 1) untill you have 14 Chain Spaces.
Slip stitch into the 4th Chain.
Change color while making the slip stitch.
Round 2:-
Slip Stitch into the Chain space.
1 Double Crochet Cluster stitch in the chain space.
Chain 2.
Repeat*(1DC Cluster, Chain 2)
Slip stitch on top of the first Cluster stitch.
How to Make a Double Crochet Cluster stitch....???:-
- Start Off with a Double Crochet, But Do Not Finish the stitch,
- Yarn over, insert the hook into the next stitch.
- Repeat (Yarn Over, insert the hook into the next stitch) untill you have total 4 loops on the Hook.
- Yarn Over and pull through all the loops
- Chain 1
Round 3:-
Chain 7.
Slip stitch on top of the next Cluster Stitch.
Repeat*(Chain 7, SL on next Cluster)
Slip Stitch into the Chain Space. Change Color while making the Slip Stitch.
Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch)
5 Double Crochets, Chain 2, 5 Double Crochets(all in the same stitch)
1 Single Crochet in the next Chain space.
Repeat*((5DC, Chain 2, 5 DC), 1 SL in next space))
Slip Stich on top of the first Double Crochet.
Chain 5.
1 Single Crochet into the Chain 2 space from the previous round.
Chain 5.
1 Single Crochet into the next single crochet from the previous round.
Repeat*(Chain 5, 1SC(on top of petal), Chain 5, 1 SC( in to the next SC from previous round.))
Round 6:-
Round 6:-
Slip stitch into the Chain space. Change color while making the slip stitch.
Chain 2.
5 Double Crochets in the Chain space.
1 Front Post Double Crochet in the Single Crochet from the previous round.
5 Double Crochet in the next Chain space.
1 Front Post Double Crochet in the next Single Crochet.
Repeat*(5DC,1 FPDC, 5DC, 1FPDC)
Chain 2.(Not Counted as a stitch)
1 Double Crochet each in every stitch untill the FPDC.
1 Double Crochet in the next stitch, 1 Front Post Double Crochet in the same stitch.
Repeat*(1 DC untill the FPDC,((1DC, 1FPDC) both in the same stitch))
Slip stitch on top of the First Double Crochet.
If you wish to make your doily bigger, then keep repeating Round 7 untill the size required.
Chain 5.
Skip 2.
1 Single Crochet in the next stitch.
Slip Stitch into the chain space. Change color while making the slip stitch.
(6 Double Crochets, Chain 1 Picot Stitch, 5 Double Crochets)- all in the same chain space.
1 Single Crochet in the next chain space.
Repeat*((6DC, Chain 1 Picot, 5DC), 1 SC in the next space).
Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
Weave off.
How to Make Chain 1 Picot:-
Chain 1.
Slip stitch into the top of the Double Crochet.
Round 1:-
Start with a Magic Circle.

5 Double Crochets, Chain 2, 5 Double Crochets(all in the same stitch)
1 Single Crochet in the next Chain space.
Repeat*((5DC, Chain 2, 5 DC), 1 SL in next space))
Slip Stich on top of the first Double Crochet.
Round 5:-
Chain 5.
1 Single Crochet into the Chain 2 space from the previous round.
Chain 5.
1 Single Crochet into the next single crochet from the previous round.
Repeat*(Chain 5, 1SC(on top of petal), Chain 5, 1 SC( in to the next SC from previous round.))
Round 6:-
Slip stitch into the Chain space. Change color while making the slip stitch.
Chain 2.
5 Double Crochets in the Chain space.
1 Front Post Double Crochet in the Single Crochet from the previous round.
5 Double Crochet in the next Chain space.
1 Front Post Double Crochet in the next Single Crochet.
Repeat*(5DC,1 FPDC, 5DC, 1FPDC)
Slip Stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
Round 7:-
Chain 2.(Not Counted as a stitch)
1 Double Crochet each in every stitch untill the FPDC.
1 Double Crochet in the next stitch, 1 Front Post Double Crochet in the same stitch.
Repeat*(1 DC untill the FPDC,((1DC, 1FPDC) both in the same stitch))
Slip stitch on top of the First Double Crochet.
If you wish to make your doily bigger, then keep repeating Round 7 untill the size required.
Round 8:-
Chain 5.
Skip 2.
1 Single Crochet in the next stitch.
Repeat*(Chain 5, Skip 2, 1 SC)
Round 9:-
Slip Stitch into the chain space. Change color while making the slip stitch.

1 Single Crochet in the next chain space.
Repeat*((6DC, Chain 1 Picot, 5DC), 1 SC in the next space).
Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
Weave off.
