Mandalas are always so gorgeous. Bright and colorful and they are great to play around with color combinations. You can use any combination of crochet stitches to create a lovely textured pattern.
Here is a quick and easy Whimsical Radiant Mandala Doily pattern. I have used multiple colors. Add a burst of color of your choice and it is sure to bring some dazzling vibes to your home decor.
Materials Used:-
8 Ply Yarn
4mm Crochet Hook
Size:-
16 Inches(Can be customized to any size)

Round 1:-
Start with a slip knot. Chain 5.Slip Stitch to first chain to make a ring.(You can use a Magic Circle as well to start off)
Chain 1.
10 Single Crochet in the ring.
Slip Stitch on top of the first single crochet.
Change color while making the slip stitch.
Chain 4.
1 Treble Crochet in the same stitch.
2 Treble Crochets in the next Stitch.
Chain 3.1 Single Crochet in the same stitch.1 petal complete.
Repeat (Ch 3, 1tr(in same stitch),2 tr,Ch3, 1 Sc(in same stitch))
Total 5 Petals.
Slip stitch into each still untill you reach the top of the petal.
Chain 7.
1 Single Crochet on top of the next petal.
Repeat*(Ch 7, 1 SC).
Round 4:-
Slip stitch into the Chain space.
Change color while making the slip stitch.
Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch).
10 Double Crochets in the same chain space.
Repeat(10 DC in each Chain Space)
Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
25 Stitches.
Chain 4( First 3 Chains will be counted as a Double Crochet and the remaining stitche will be counted as a chain space.)
Skip 1.
1 Double Crochet in the next stitch.
Repeat(1DC, Ch 2, Skip 1)
Slip stitch into the 3rd chain.
Change color while making the slip stitch.
Chain 2(Not counted as a stitch)
1 Front Post Double Crochet in the same Stitch.
2 Double Crochets in the Chain space.
Repeat(1FPDC,2DC)
Slip stitch on top of the first Front Post Double Crochet.
Chain 10.
1 Single Crochet in the same stitch.
1 Single Crochet each in the next 3 stitches.
Repeat(Chain 10, 1SC(in the same Stitch) ,1 SC*3)
25 Petals.
Slip stitch into each stitch untill you reach the top of the petal.
Chain 5.
1 Single Crochet into the next petal.
Repeat(Ch5, 1SC).
Slip stitch to end the round.
Change color while making the slip stitch.
Chain 2(Not counted as a stitch)
1 Front Post Double Crochet in the same stitch(i.e. around the whole petal).
5 Double Crochet in the next Chain space.
Repeat(1FPDC, 5DC)
Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
150 Stitches.
Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch)
1 Double Crochet in the same stitch.
1 Front Post Double Crochet in the same stitch.
1 Double Crochet each in the next 5 stitches.
Repeat((1DC,1FPDC)-in the same stitch, 1DC*5)
Slip stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.
Change Color while making the slip stitch.
175 stitches.
1 Double Crochet Cluster stitch.
Chain 2.
Skip 3.
Repeat(1 DC Cluster, Ch 2, Skip 3)
Slip stitch on top of the First Cluster stitch.
Change Color while Making the Slip stitch.
Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch)
1 Front Post Double Crochet in the same stitch(i.e. around the cluster stitch)
3 Double Crochet in the next chain space.
Repeat(1FPDC,3DC)
Slip stitch on top of the first Front Post Double Crochet.
Change color while making the slip stitch.
Chain 5.
Skip 3.
1 Single Crochet in the next stitch.
Repeat(Ch 5, Skip 3, 1 SC)
Once you reach the end, Chain 3 and 1 Double Crochet into the first Chain.
This is the connecting stitch.
Repeat Round 13.
To finish off Round 15, Chain 5 and slip stitch into the first Double Crochet.
Change color while making the slip stitch.
If you wish to make your doily bigger, then keep repeating these rounds untill the size needed.
Slip stitch into the chain space.
Chain 1(Not Counted as a stitch)
3 Single Crochets.
Chain 3 Picot(Chain 3, Slip stitch on the bottom stitch)
3 Single Crochets in the same space.
Repeat(3SC,Ch3 Picot, 3SC)
Slip stitch on top of the first Single Crochet.
Weave off.

Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch)
1 Front Post Double Crochet in the same stitch(i.e. around the cluster stitch)
3 Double Crochet in the next chain space.
Repeat(1FPDC,3DC)
Slip stitch on top of the first Front Post Double Crochet.
Change color while making the slip stitch.
Round 13:-
Chain 5.
Skip 3.
1 Single Crochet in the next stitch.
Repeat(Ch 5, Skip 3, 1 SC)
Once you reach the end, Chain 3 and 1 Double Crochet into the first Chain.
This is the connecting stitch.
Round 14 &15:-
Repeat Round 13.
