Layered Crochet Flower

I love to crochet flowers, they are just so easy and quick to make. You can brighten up any of your Crochet Project with a Simple Crochet Flower. They make a great embellishment for Hats, Bags and Purses , Baskets , Baby Booties... !!!

Today am sharing the pattern for this easy and simple Layered Crochet Flower. I have used 2 Shades of yarn. You can play around with the colors to make one of your choice.

Materials Used:-

• Yarn(Pink and Blue)
• 4mm Crochet Hook

Round 1:-

Start with a Magic Circle.

Chain 2(Not Counted as a stitch. It is just to bring the yarn to a working height)

12 Double Crochets in the Magic Circle.

Pull the yarn end to close the gap.

Slip Stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.

Change color while making the slip stitch.

Round 2:-

Chain 1(Not Counted as a stitch)

(1 Single Crochet, 1 Half Double Crochet , 3 Double Crochets,1 Single Crochet) - all in the same stitch

Slip Stitch into the next stitch

Repeat((1SC,1HDC,3DC,1SC)-all in same stitch, Slip stitch into next stitch)

Round 3:-

Chain 5.

1 Single Crochet on the next slip stitch from the previous round.

Repeat all around.

Round 4:-

Slip stitch in to chain space. Change Color while making the slip stitch.

(1 Single Crochet, 1 Half Double Crochet, 3 Double Crochets, Chain 3 Picot,3 Double Crochets, 1 Half  Double Crochet, 1 Single Crochet)- all in the same chain space.

Repeat( 1SC, 1HDC, 3DC,CH3 Picot, 3DC, 1HDC, 1SC)

Slip Stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.

Weave off.
