Plush Crochet Tablet Cover


I love working with Plush Yarn. They are so soft to touch and feel. The crochet projects worked with plush yarn work up pretty quick. The most popular choice of crochet projects with this yarn are Baby blankets ,amigurumi and plush toys. I thought of using this yarn for a gadget sleeve. Today am sharing the pattern Plush Tablet Crochet cover.

In today's time, it would be hard to find a person who is not using any sort of electronic Smart Gadget. Protect your electronic gadgets with this easy and quick Crochet Cover pattern. You can adapt this pattern for any size of electronic smart gadget. The Plush yarn will protect and provide a cushiony feel to your gadget. This would make an ideal last minute gift idea.



 

Materials Used:- Blanket Chenille Yarn
7mm Crochet Hook
Wooden Button
Here is the Video Tutorial:-


Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot
Chain 16.
You can adjust the fit to your gadget size by increasing or decreasing these starting chain stitches. Measure it at the base of your gadget.
1 Single Crochet in the second chain from the hook
1 Single Crochet each in the remaining stitches untill the last stitch.
3 Single Crochets in the last stitch.
Turn your work and start working on the opposite side.
1 Single Crochet each in the remaining stitches untill the last stitch.
3 Single Crochets in the last stitch.
Slip stitch on top of the first Single Crochet.








Round 2 Onwards:-
Chain 1(Not Counted as a stitch)
1 Single Crochet in the same stitch.
1 Single Crochet in each of the remaining stitches.
Do not slip stitch, we will be working in continuous rounds.
Keep making 1 Single Crochet in each stitch untill you reach the size required.




Button Loop:-
Sew the button with a yarn needle.
Continue 1 Single Crochet in each stitch untill you reach the stitch aligning to the button on the opposite side.
Chain 10 and 1 Single Crochet in the same stitch.
You can change the stitches according to the size of the button you are using.
Continue with 1 Single Crochet in each stitch untill the last stitch on the side and weave off.
You can also add any embellishment or applique of your choice. I used a flower applique.
