How To Make a Cute Crochet Ghost Applique



Booooo!!! Here is a Cute and Adorable Crochet Ghost to add to your Halloween Decorations. It’s just perfect for your Halloween decor and also for adding to those little treat bags.

If you are looking for a quick way to decorate your home for Halloween, then these spooky but adorable crocheted ghosts are perfect to make. These Spooky Crochet Ghost Appliques are very simple to make . They work up with just few basic crochet stitches. You can make a couple of these Cute Ghosts in no time at all.

Appliques can be used in a lot of different ways. Turn them into garlands or Buntings or just add a loop and hang them as they are. Not only for Halloween decorations, you can use these ghost appliques to embellish your other crocheted projects like Crochet Blanket, Crochet Hats or any other Craft Project.




Materials Used:-
4 Ply Cotton Knitting Yarn
4 mm Crochet Hook

Size:-
3  inches

Let's Start ....!!!!

Round 1:- (Face)
Start with a Magic Circle.
16 Double Crochets in the circle.
Pull the yarn end to close the gap.
Slip Stitch on top of the first Double Crochet.



Arm 1:-

Chain 4.
1 Slip Stitch into the Second Chain from the hook.
1 Single Crochet each in the next 2 stitches.
Slip Stitch on top of the first stitch i.e . the First Double Crochet.


Body:-
Chain 8.
1 Slip Stitch in the Second Chain from the hook.
1 Slip Stitch in the next stitch.
1 Half Double Crochet in the next stitch.
1 Double Crochet in the next stitch.
1 Treble Crochet in the next stitch.
2 Treble Crochets in the next stitch.
1 Treble Crochet in the last stitch.
Skip 1 Double Crochet Stitch.
Slip Stitch on top of the next Double Crochet.





Arm 2:-
Chain 4.
1 Slip Stitch into the Second Chain from the hook.
1 Single Crochet each in the next 2 stitches.
Slip Stitch into the bottom of the same stitch.i.e. on top of the Double Crochet and weave off.



Eyes:-
Using a Yarn needle, sew the eyes with a Black Color yarn.


Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

Round 1:- (Face)
Start with a Magic Circle.
16 DCs in the circle.
Pull the yarn end to close the gap.
SL on top of the first DC.

Arm 1:-
Ch 4.
1 SL into the Second Ch from the hook.
1 SC each in the next 2 Sts.
SL on top of the first St i.e . the First DC.

Body:-
Ch 8.
1 SL in the Second Ch from the hook.
1 SL in the next St.
1 HDC in the next St.
1 DC in the next St.
1 Trbl in the next St.
2 Trbls in the next St.
1 Trbl in the last St.
Skip 1 DC St.
SL on top of the next DC.

Arm 2:-
Ch 4.
1 SL into the Second Ch from the hook.
1 SC each in the next 2 Sts.
SL into the bottom of the same St.i.e. on top of the DC and weave off.

Eyes:-
Using a Yarn needle, sew the eyes with a Black Color yarn.
