Super Easy and Cute Crochet Carrot Applique


Crocheted accessories and appliques are the most easy and quick to whip up. Not only are they quick makes , they look super cute once finished. It’s always so nice to be able to crochet and  make something totally handmade that you can use for special occasions and festivals.

Today am sharing the pattern for making a Super Easy and Cute Crochet Carrot Applique. These Carrot Appliques work up really quick and super fun to make. You can crochet a bunch of them in no time at all. There are many ways in which you can use these Crocheted Carrot Appliques. Use them as embellishments and decorate your Crochet Potholder, Placemats and Tablemat. They would look cute on any Clothing Accessory and you can use them for your festive decorations.




Materials Used:-
4 Ply Cotton Knitting Yarn
4 mm Crochet Hook

Size:-
3 inches

Let's Start ....!!!!

Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.
Chain 12.
3 Double Crochets in the 3rd Chain from the hook.
1 Double Crochet each in the next 4 Stitches.
1 Half Double Crochet each in the next 2 Stitches.
1 Single Crochet each in the next 2 Stitches.
In the last stitch make -(1 Single Crochet, Chain 1,1 Single Crochet).
Turn your work and start working on the opposite side.






Round 2:-
1 Single Crochet each in the next 2 Stitches.
1 Half Double Crochet each in the next 2 Stitches.
1 Double Crochet each in the next 4 Stitches.
3 Double Crochets in the last Stitch.
Slip Stitch on top of the first stitch and while making the Slip Stitch change the yarn colour.




Leaf:-
Chain 7 and Slip Stitch into the same stitch.
Chain 10 and Slip Stitch into the same stitch.
Chain 7 and Slip Stitch into the same stitch and weave off.






Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

Round 1:-
Start with a Slip Knot.

1DC each in the next 4 Sts.
1HDC each in the next 2 Sts.
1SC each in the next 2 Sts.
In the last St make -(1SC,Ch1,1SC).
Turn your work & start working on the opposite side.

Round 2:-
1SC each in the next 2 Sts.
1HDC each in the next 2 Sts.
1DC each in the next 4 Sts.
3DCs in the last St.
SL on top of the first St & while making the SL change the yarn colour.

Leaf:-
Ch7 & SL into the same St.
Ch10 & SL into the same St.
Ch7 & SL into the same St & weave off.
