Today am sharing the pattern for a Quick and Easy Crochet Love Valentine Gift Bag .These would be perfect for your last minute crafts for Valentine's Day. Its a quick and easy working pattern. These are not only limited to Valentine's day, but sure you can use them all year around.

You can easily customize the size of the bag according to your need. The heart applique is crocheted separately and stitched on with a yarn needle.

Materials Used:-

Gift Bag:-

4 Ply Cotton Knitting Yarn

4 mm Crochet Hook

Heart:-

Embroidery Floss

2.5 mm Crochet Hook

Size:-

Gift Bag - 3 inches - Customizable to any size

Heart - 1/2 inch

Let's Start:-

Round 1:-

Start with a slip knot.

Chain 16. 

You can change these starting number of chains according to your need.

Round 2:-

1 Single Crochet in the 2nd chain from the hook.

1 Single Crochet each in the remaining stitches untill the last stitch.

3 Single Crochets in the last stitch.

Turn your work and start working on the opposite side.

1 Single Crochet each in the remaining stitches untill the last stitch.

3 Single Crochets in the last stitch.

Slip stitch on top of the 1st Single Crochet.

Round 3:-

Chain 1(Not Counted as a stitch). Start the next stitch in the same stitch.

(1 Single Crochet, 1 Double Crochet)- all in the same stitch.

Skip the next stitch.

Repeat((1SC,1DC),Skip 1)

Do not slip stitch once you reach the end. We will be working in continuous rounds.

Round 4 :-

**This Round Onwards, we will be working only into the Single Crochets from the previous Round.

In the 1st Stitch make-(1 Single Crochet, 1 Double Crochet)

Repeat(1SC,1DC) in each of the SCs.

Do not slip stitch once you reach the end. We will be working in continuous rounds.

Round 5 Onwards:-

Keep repeating Round 4 untill its around 3 inches in size or untill the size needed.

Border:-

1 Half Double Crochet in stitch around.

Slip Stitch on top of the 1st HDC and weave off.

Heart:-

Start with a Magic Circle.

Chain 3

3 Treble Crochet

3 Double Crochet

Chain 1

1 Treble Crochet

Chain 1

3 Double Crochet

3 Treble Crochet

Chain 3.

To finish off, slip stitch into the magic ring.

Pull the yarn end tight to close the gap in the middle. 

Weave in the yarn ends.

Sew the Heart on to the Gift Bag with a Yarn Needle.

Here is the Summary of the Pattern:-

Repeat(1SC,1DC) in each of the SCs.

Do not SL once you reach the end. We will be working in continuous rounds.

Round 5 Onwards:-

Border:-

1HDC in St around.

SL on top of the 1st HDC and weave off.

Heart:-
